Pool was dirty - no place to walk- lobby and hall all gloomy. No proper welcome or water or drink. We ordered food out - the hotel lacked options on the menu. The decor all depressing w low ceilings. We called friends also to stay and relax with us and it was so disappointing. Chennai's Radisons are beautiful so we hoped for similar.

I went there along my family (my wife and 6 month Old Baby). The best part is the service and hospitality. They prepared special breakfast for my baby on request. Provided the necessary cutlery. Felt safe and Calm.
Initially when I did the check-in, there was a difference in booking.com final rate and the price told at the check-in desk. After a day, on inquiry again with the reception desk, they agreed with the booking.com final amount.
It would have been great if such manual price difference practices are not done at the time of check-in.

The hotel is beautiful. Rooms were immaculate. Lots of products stocked up daily. Staff were so friendly and could not do enough for you. Would highly recommend

The beds were really comfy and the pool was nice. The staff were helpful and the food was good.
The area around the pool was covered by a wooden pergola so you can’t sunbathe.
The cleaning product/air freshener in the lobby was so strong that it hurt my nose and throat when I breathed!

1. We arranged an airport pick-up for our arrival at 2AM. Upon arrival, nobody was there to pick us up. When trying to call them, nobody answered the phone. Luckily, a colleague from the other Raddison Blu hotel was there and arranged a taxi for us. Upon arriving at the hotel, they just said "well it wasn't your fault and it wasn't our fault". No, it was definitely your fault: I clearly communicated the arrival times and you even confirmed the arrival time and date in the Booking.com chat. Also, your phone should be available at all times: what happened to 24/7 reception?
2. On a Tuesday night, the hotel hosted a wedding party until 1 AM. The music was so loud that you could feel the bass in your body, making it impossible to fall asleep. They knew a wedding party was scheduled, so why did they give us a room so close to the wedding area, rather than near the other side of the hotel? Poor planning. We complained to the front desk three times between 10 PM and midnight before they decided to reimburse us.
3. They promised to reimburse us for one night. Upon checkout, they didn't have money on-hand and instead asked for my phone number so that I could send them my bank details. So I did. It's been a month and I still haven't received my reimbursement. They haven't been replying to my messages anymore.
4. Safety hazard. My wife had a remote job interview during our stay. We decided to move the desk in front of the window to get good lighting. When we lifted the table, the legs fell out from underneath it and we completely pulled out the ~30 kg table top. The table top was attached to the wall by two small screws the size of my fingernail, and only that was keeping it upright. This is an absolute safety hazard. If a child would have pulled/leaned on the desk, it would have fallen forward and crushed the child.

The room is so huge and comfy. I was well suited and relaxed before my exam.
For a 5 star hotel, I expect the food will be superb even though cooks and chef are from India, I expected that they can also create delectable dishes that are not from their own culture. Unfortunately, it doesn't passed on my tasting. I ordered Nasi Goreng and it is so oily. I tried Hawaian pizza but it looks like the pizza from a regular shop. If they can create pizza with Italian touch, that would be amazing. On the other hand, I tasted Indian cuisines and they are topnotch. I love the masala dosa and the chicken biryani totally solves my crave.

The hotel seemed new, the room was clean.
The staff need to be trained well. The service was incredibly poor, from the check in all the way to the check out.
1. No bell boy to help with my luggage when I arrived. The staff at the door just kept looking on, as I was struggling with my bags. I got my bags to the reception on my own, and then made a point of mentioning this to the check in staff.
2. I called the front desk and asked for the room to be cleaned and for amenities to be refreshed whilst I'd stepped out for the evening. I returned close to midnight, only to discover the room hadn't been cleaned and no amenities had been refreshed. I was leaving at 3 AM to catch an early flight back, so it was too late to get out cleaned then.
3. Whilst checking out, I had a repeat of the situation with my luggage. No bell hop, no concierge - I had to insist with the front desk that someone help with my luggage and get it into the taxi.
Overall, a pretty poor service experience.

ROOM CLEANLINESS , HAD ENDED UP WITH STAINED CARPETS AMENETIES AND MAKE QUALITY
THE HOTEL SEEMS PRETTY MUCH OLD and not revamped periodically.
MAY BE WAS AT A WRONG TIME AT THE HOTEL AS IT WAS FLUDDED WITH POLITICIANS AND MAY BE THE FOCUS WAS TO KEEP THE MOST PREFERRED CLASS "THE POLITICIANS" IN INDIA more comfortable and provide them with better and cleaner rooms over common people.
Bed sheets were not sparkling white as they should be and seemed worn out and old. Sure poloticians would have got a better quality for their stay.
Had even a badly made drawer in the room. Not sure if that is what a 5 star facility stands for.
Tea was very bad at a cost if 500 INR. And served in a road side tuck shop type crokery. Not sure if this is what the Raddison brand stand out for and how is Radisson actually making things better.
