power was off yet the hotel didn't have power back up even as little as providing candle.

The staff were excellent and very helpful. The location very close to Nyali shopping centre. Private car parking very good. The staff helped me to upgrade to the deluxe double room with a balcony view. The fridge in the room proved very useful.
There was no useable wifi in the room. The balcony view comprised a brand new 12 storey apartment block being built in the adjacent plot between the hotel and the beach. The TV apps were unobtainable (Netflix, tube) because the wifi was not accessible. The bathroom taps leaked water onto the adjacent worktop. The door lock did not work properly. We had to use a padlock with the metal grid exterior gate to secure the room.

The comfortable bed and big room. The friendly and professional staff. One my luggage didn't arrive one of the staff members walked me into town to help me look for basic necessities, now that is going the extra mile!
The expensive prices and slow service from the restaurant. The fact that I was discouraged from having food and drink in the common area near the pool when I could have delivered at a lower price and prepared much quicker.

Not possible to have a lunch or dinner at the property, unfortunately they were out of the most of things. There's new hotel coming next to the place so no ocean view or access to the beach anymore. We can't recommend.

The location is great very near Nyali Centre.
They are not keen on cleanliness. I found bed bugs on my bed. the wash rooms are not very clean .The breakfast on the second day was trash.
