The location is great and it's pretty cheap.

Was great and clean

I like that the property is very central to the main part so within easy walking distance. Also love to clean and tidy. The place was and the staff couldn’t do enough for you.
Although we were given fans, it would be really nice to have some air conditioning as in the summer months. It’s extremely hot and the rooms that would be my only complaint

The place is so overpriced for a Hostel. Had to share to bathroom with 5+ rooms and they were dark and moldy. A staff member had very unpleasant long nails that looked very unclean

- Absolutely excellent location, close to the underground and buses, close to the tourist attractions, close to the Alfama. It might not be room with the view but we were not worried that it will be difficult to get back to the hostel after Fado nights as it was just short walking distance.
- I remember when I was booking the room, I read some negative comments about noise in the night. Well, if you book room in the middle of old Lisbon be prepared that city never sleeps and it might wake you up few times in the night. If you want quiet neighbourhood then you might want to stay somewhere far away from Bairro Alto and Alfama or bring earplugs ;) In my opinion fantastic location is worth sacrifice ;)
- Hostel is also situated in authentic old building with lovely Azulejos downstairs
- Lovely terrace and kitchen, well equipped - had everything we needed to prepare meals.
- Room is not huge but what else do you need when you come on sightseeing trip? :)
- Room and bathroom were nice and clean
- Staff was super friendly, we often had a little chat and laugh in the morning :)
- Some small shops nearby, open until quite late (good to grab something to drink after long sightseeing day) as well as few amazing restaurants around (especially recommend Sherma Mo Mo)
I would add a small table into the room if possible (even instead of armchair) as bedside tables were not enough to keep all the cosmetics on them etc. But that's not even a negative - just little suggestion :)

Staff were friendly
Kitchen was well equipped
We ended staying in two rooms. Our first room (room 9 which is the one with a little courtyard with a table and chairs) should be avoided at all costs. It was unbeliably stuffy and hot even with a fan permanently on in temperatures in the 20s. The only thing we could do was open the door to the courtyard which has a window onto the shared bathroom which absolutely stank. So you either get too hot or have your room smell. Our second room was a little better but still too hot. To make matters even worse, there is a giant heat pip (not seen in the photos) which makes the room even warmer.
There were bare wires in the walls.
There was mould and cracks all over the walls and ceiling.
When we moved rooms, they originally tried to charge us. Luckily they didn't in the end but I was amazed we were being charged for this.
Wrongly advertises itself as a guest room, in reality it's a hostel. That's fine, but it should be advertised as such.
The bed was too short for me at 5"10, avoid if you're above around 5"6.
Overall, I would advoid this place unless you absolutely have to stay in room 9 and in other, nicer, rooms just be aware this is a basic hostel.

The location is perfect! Most sightseeings are in walking distance (tram 28, Baixa centre, Santa Justa lift, Alfama) or else you have a metrostation in less than 5 minutes walking (Martim Moniz and Rossio).
The room is small, but clean, just like the shared bathroom (2 showers and 3 toilets).
Would definitely recommend!

The staff was friendly, the location was clean and central and the terrace is nice.
It was noisy all night long, close to street.

Great place, friendly reception, nice and comfy.
Had a shared bathroom this time but it was a shower/toilet block so always facilities free which is good.
Some noise from other guests but not much.

The location is great. It is close to everything. The staff is nice.
The isolation is very bad, so we could hear a lot of sounds from other rooms to the point where you could almost hear normal volume conversations from other rooms clearly. There is also a ventilation tube on the terrace that makes a lot of sound, making it hard to sleep.
The room doesn't have any ventilation and because of that the room is extremely hot. The room has one door to a "terrace" which was the only place you could get fresh air, but even so it was impossible to open the door to get fresh air because the whole terrace stinks of sewage. So the terrace is useless, and the room doesn't have any other possibility to get fresh air, and is so hot that you can't sleep. We told a lady that worked there about this problem, and they tried to put something in the drain in the terrace, but even so it smelled awful (combination of sewage and chemicals) and were still not able to open up the door to get fresh air. Stay away from this place.

Good location, very friendly and helpful staff. Hot showers and possible to use kitchen.
Sometimes noise at night, but I knew it when I made the reservation. I read about it.

Simplicity of contact. Cleanliness.
Big price for storage of language. 1€ pro hour for small bag? No thanks. Small things in the kitchen, like bottle opener or wine opener... missing

I stayed in this hotel from 8 to 14 January.
Normal check out is at 11. But I want to stay inw hour extra till 12 . Because my friend will come at 12 to pick me from the hotel. So I simply asked if I can stay only one hour extra to the responsible person there.
I talked with the receptionist she said I can stay till 12. But next day she was off from work.
And there was a man in the hotel he talked with me in a bad way that I wanted to check out one hour later. I told him that I already talk with the receptionist but he didn't listen to me at all talked to me in such a bad way and wanted me to leave right away.
It was a horrific morning for me.

Excellent location. Very easy to walk around and find something good to eat, check out the sites, get on the metro. Be prepared for hills, but I left the trip in better shape! Room was comfortable and just enough space for 2 and our backpacks. There were enough shared bathroom facilities that we never had to wait. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The shared kitchen area is really organized.
The only drawbacks are the room can get quite hot and leaving the windows open to the street below is a little loud. Would recommend earplugs for sure. Quiet hours inside the building start at 6, so not the easiest place to hang out in a common area and meet other travelers, but we weren't 'home' that much during our stay anyway.
