the village is huge and the decorations are amazing .

nobody was there when we arrived. we panic when we arrived as we didn’t know how to do the check in. No info was provided here in booking. also we asked for help to collect us and nothing was scheduled. the beds (mattress are old and too soft for back issues

We really like the design of the villas and the style. The size of the room was awesome and the bathroom was fantastic massive outdoor bathroom. Loved the interior style and the whole hotel area layout with the pool. Very nice pool.

Food was really bad. No taste. I choose scrambled eggs and toast for breakfast and I got 2 small triangles of dry bread. No butter, no jams, nothing. Just the dry hardly toast bread. Since it was 2 triangles it was just one slice cut in 2. So one dry slice of bread. again, no butter no jams...nada. The scrabbled eggs was a very small portion and had no taste and there was no option of adding salt and pepper since there was no salt and pepper. So no tasting scrambled eggs at very small portion and one dry slice of bread with no option of putting anything on it. No restaurants near by that we know of so we had no option. Like prison food and we were starved when leaving. Un acceptable for a star hotel. The room was dusty. Pity with the food and dusty room since I have always dreamt of living in such a nicely designed villa with an outdoor bathroom. With such a nice looking natural hotel/resort, if the food was good I would come back. but this was really the worst food and for us food is pretty important.

The villa was amazing and great staff. The add doesn't specify the location clearly and was difficult to find. The food wasn't great but the massages and service was a plus.

It gets a little warm in the room as the Air conditioning isn't too powerful.

We were automatically booked into Ubud Virgin Villas 2 and the description of that property does not match reality at all! 1. Description says: We can accommodate “Special diet menus” - We are vegetarians and in reality other than the 3 things they had in the menu, they refused to do anything else. 2. description says “we have a spa” in reality if you would like a massage, someone would come to your villa and give the massage in your room/villa 3. Description says “We have a coffee shop” - Ubud Virgin Villa 2 does NOT have any restaurants or coffee shops. 4. Description says - “We have private pools and rooms with garden views” - They need to be specific here. if you book a room with a private pool you can use it, for guests who book rooms with garden view, there is NO shared swimming pool for guests at the property. while the location accurately says 4 kms from the center, it does not say how desolate this place is. there is absolutely nothing around the property and unless you hire a scooter/cycle there is nothing you can do! Full payment is promptly taken As Soon as you arrive leaving you with little room to change plans later on. We ended up staying there for the 3 nights we had booked (they were happy to refund if we cancelled the booking and checked out when we complained) but left the property by 10 AM and promptly got back after 9PM.

I’ve been in Bali for 6 months and this is the worst accommodation I stayed in. Shocking experience. Not representative of how friendly and amazing Balinese people usually are. On a weekday, there was a really loud party with really loud music 1pm until the evening. With many people using the internet, it was so slow and there was so much noise, both myself and my partner were not able to do our work meetings. I had to drop off an interview. Mrs Lilik, the manager, ignored my messages for hours and did not suggest an alternative nor asked the other guests to keep quiet. We were offered a very meek “sorry”. The villa wasn’t super clean - looked like the sun-bed hadn’t been wiped in days. The villa stank mouldy when we came back to the room - suspect because the aircon hasn’t been serviced in quite some time. We were told our laundry would take 24 hours but it still wasn’t ready until the next day. It was only brought after I asked. Masseuse dug her nails in so hard in my legs, I asked her kindly not to, she carried on so I had to stop the massage before it ended. Food takes 45+ mins to arrive and it’s very sub-par. Plates not collected unless you ask which means there are ants everywhere. We were told last minute we’d be staying in this location despite booking “Ubud Virgin Villa” 5 mins further down the road which made our taxi drop off very awkward. I highly recommend booking elsewhere. I will be telling my network of friends in Bali to avoid when visiting Ubud

Not specifically, just some suggestions; firstly, is the air condition units are not cold, probably is time to service? Secondly, one of the villa is without hair dryer as stated should be furnished by the host.

No complaints at all

it was perfect villa for two families with kids. very private and very nice pool. the three bungalows are comfortable and feel very authentic with wooden structures and Balinese art. the breakfast was cooked every morning in the small kitchen and was very delicious - always with fresh fruit and juices. there is a free shuttle to the city (3 km) in a very fun old minibus!

you have to be prepared that it is a virgin villa and there are some ants and you hear the nature at night from the bungalows. I liked it anyways because it was very authentic!

Great for group of 12 of us, private and quiet villa with big pool, common hall area and dining area, good for team or family bonding. We really have a great time here. Breakfast was good with choices for you to order. Shutter service available.

Friendly staffs

The property is really spacious and great for a group of friends or family allowing individual space. It’s very rustic and charming. The private pool is massive and there was a toy boat to the joy of the kids. The kids loved it and it has a charm and it was a peaceful place to relax. it’s comes with several pet cats which the kids all liked. Its about 20 minutes from Ubud but they do offer a free one way transfer into town. They offer a limited menu which they cook in the villa kitchen. The staff were young but friendly.

It could do with some upgrading eg furniture looks past it’s best and there quite a few loose wooden boards on the decks surrounding the pool and outside area. The pool wasn’t cleaned while we were there and there were similar issues with the rooms. Be aware that the property collect the money locally and will charge you an extra few percent if you want to pay by card instead of cash even though it states you will be charged on your card three days before arrival. I spoke to the manager/owner about this (who doesn’t live on site) and she was very unhelpful even though it was very clear in the property policy details on booking.com

The place, a real virgin villa, so much space, wonderful private swimming pool, staff amazing and always ready to satisfy our requests, about food, services, seriously anytime, anything!

Nothing really. Ubud is a bit far, but people chose this place for this reason. Around the villa there are a few options for food, but with a car or lift you can easily get many more.
