Whenever I come to Darwin I stay at this property. Home from home away, close to the city centre

Clean room and facilities

Breakfast was not what I expected and it was only a continental breakfast with nothing hot or cooked. There is no ice available but staff did provide us with an esky to keep the purchased ice we had to buy cold.

Breakfast area needs some attention

It's very convenient that breakfast starts so early as lots of guests are leaving early for day tours etc.

Got a good rate via booking.com.om the first 3 nights. The rate the hotel offered when I wanted to stay a night longer was completely overpriced in my opinion and there was no flexibility to negotiate.

Would have preferred some eggs and bacon for breakfast. A wider choice for breakfast would have been better.

Very clean and Comfortable

The timber chairs over ceramic floor tiles could be heard all night from other units. The chair require felt bottoms to eliminate drag noise.

The staff were extremely helpful. Room clean. room service prompt. Reception staff very helpful. A special mention goes to Belle (Mirabelle) in the breakfast dining room. Consistently friendly, welcoming & greeting each person as they entered the dining room, always smiling and happy to help, and then thanked each person as they left to begin their day, & all the while actively attending to her duties in keeping the tables cleared & clean, & breakfast items replenished. She is an asset to the Hotel.

The shower was over the bathtub, narrow, & the bathtub surface curved & slippery. This could too easily be a significant risk to anyone with mobility issues, aging factors such as arthritis, or anyone with hip or spine or knee issues, for whom climbing in & the getting out of the tub is not easy, & the tub is slippery when wet making the risk of a fall or similar injury quite a significant potential. There was one railing on the wall to hold when getting in or out.

Comfortable Bed in a room with the correct temperature setting. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. They were excellent.

The shower, being set up for disabled use, when being used did cover 90% of the bathroom floor with water. It was a minor inconvenience.

Rooms were a good size and clean. The microwave and dinnerware and cutlery were an excellent bonus. Nice quiet location.

On arrival we didn't get any instructions on using your room key to get to your floor in the hotel. After two goes another guest explain it to us

Fabulous friendly staff who were very helpful when you needed help or information. Continental breakfast was more than adequate, good choice of cereals, fruit, toasts, drinks both hot and cold.

The room was cleaned and organized every day. Bed is really comfortable and we had a very good sleep. Hotel is located walking distance to the city centre.

Breakfast is very standart. Just cereals and milk every day. It would be good to have different options, even if that would require and extra payment. Car parking is also not included in the room price.

Rooms were tidy.

Rooms were tidy but could have been cleaner eg. bathroom sink had hair in it and the bath had a long black hair also. Tiles and showerhead/taps could have been cleaner.
