Nothing . After a long international arrival my husband and I arrived at the hotel to find it was not operational and closed . Despite having confirmed my booking just a day prior and receiving message from hotel management reminding me that they only accept USD bills no older than 2009 issue. Property had assigned us to their sister property 5min away but accommodation was old and run down.
Everything was poor quality , room service took double the time due to low cooking voltage. We received no apology nor consideration for not alerting us ahead of time regarding the Metropole hotel being closed . Should not be allowed to take bookings and reservations. I have filed a separate note of complaint to Bookinh.com and await response

We were placed at their sister hotel Golf Course Hotel.
The staff are very good. Very warm and welcoming and go out of their way to make you comfortable. They have 3 very nice restaurants on the premises, their main attraction is their staff and beautiful views of the golf Course. They also have a mall next door which is very convenient if you need anything during your stay.
The swimming pool was not clean so couldn't be used.

My guests continue to like the place and they book it every time they come. The golf course view is something that is really a score for this. The staff is really kind nd the breakfast is great. Would definately recommend
The facility could use a reinnovation though. I feel like it would totally upgrade it's stars

Excellent!!! Very friendly staff very nice large rooms, good location with view to the golf course.
I highly recommend and hope to come again soon.

This hotel has been shut down for maintenance. All booking from this hotel is transferred to Golf Course Hotel. NOBODY from the hotel informed me about and I have to figure it out by myself.

Nothing, expect for a few friendly staff.
Given that its a property with a 5 start rating and such high rack rates, its environs (within the hotel) are still dusty and during my entire 7 day stay there was no air-conditioning in the entire hotel, we were given fans in our rooms

During ma booking at this hotel ,it was not functional, so nothing really to comment on it but instead I was accommodated at golf course.

The Metropole has one of the best hotel showers in Kampala. I stay at the Metropole frequently. It's good value for your money.
The breakfast could be improved.
