Unique hotel, well managed and the friendliest and most professional staff ever. Really a joy.

Poor service

The location and the overall look and design of the room.

The hot water was very irregular. When showering the water temperature would fluctuate a lot. From cold to very hot which was frustrating to keep having to turn the fosset every few seconds.

Super friendly staff, very helpful. Food was ok (not great, bud not bad either). Airco in room, very modern bathroom (european standards) with good water pressure. No mosquito nets, but no mosquitoes either.

Availability local / traditional food: only buffet, which was not very traditional. Small beds (we had an executive room with two double beds; I ended up sleeping with my toddler, who left me more room than my husband :-))

no elevators. long walk to room . though it was good exercise after a meal.

Large, clean and very comfortable room with AC. The gym and swimming pool were a pleasant surprise, both usable. The breakfast was delicious, and the adjacent Asian Fusion restaurants serve one of the best Indian cuisines in Uganda (except for a bizarre naan pizza).

The price was a bit high but matched the comfort, services provided and location.

Excellent hotel with impressive history.

No elevators so have to carry luggage through stairs.

The Hotel is in a great location, it is clean and neat and they have a concierge so at least we left our luggage after checking out and came later to pick them up. Spacious rooms and beautiful scenery.

- The shower wasn't working even when we called for help, nothing was fixed we had to shower with cold water. - Trying to make payments at the reception was turned back severally as they await their manager as they couldn't do it themselves. - Beds are hard and thus not comfortable - The breakfast buffet didn't have a variety in selection - The TV signal was poor hence couldn't watch

The serenity of infusing nature,green culture for the environment as well as maintaining the Ugandan Culture and heritage was blissfully refreshing.
