The location was beautiful and the host was as friendly as can possibly be and incredibly helpful for us throughout our stay!
Some of the showers were not very powerful and didn’t drain very well

beautiful rooftop patio and nice lounging areas on each floor. friendly owner who gave us great recommendation for a day hike and served us tea right when we arrived, a very nice welcome!

The Refuge keeper Mohammed was very nice to us shared with us some of his mountains trekking experiences.

The accommodation is basic but clean and has nice views from the terrace. It was cold during the night but plenty of blankets were provided. Good location for hiking, located right next to the trail to the waterfall, Aroumd village and Toubkal. But the owner is the best thing about the accommodation. Very hospitable and friendly and also speaks a bit of English as well, which was nice for us since we don't speak Arabic or French. Offered us tea and sweets and made a nice cozy fire in the fireplace in the evening to warm you up. Also cooked a very tasty Klefta Tagine on request for us in the evening for a fair price (60 dhs per person).
Shower started out pretty hot but got luke warm after a bit, but maybe we were just unlucky because we showered after everyone else.

We had a wonderful stay at the Imlil Refuge. Good location and beautiful views from the room and terrace. The owner, Mohammed, was very kind and helpful. He borrowed us some walkingsticks for our hike. Breakfast was good (different kinds of jam, honey, tea, coffee, orange juice, bread). The tea Mohammed served was really good (the best Moroccan tea so far). It's pretty cold at night (November), so bring enough warm clothes. At night Mohammed makes a fire in the living room.
You don't get any sheets, only blankets.

Perfect base for climbers. Central location. Terrace superb. Manager doubles as a guide for Mt. Toubkal and is very knowlegeable in all walking/hiking options in the area.
Breakfast could be improved - it's just too basic at present.

I spent two night at Refuge Imlil during last May 2021. The refuge meets my expectations and I was pleased with my stay there. The manager Mohamed was extremely nice and helpful and always there to support/guide you 24hours. The staff and food in the refuge was delicious. I enjoyed the amazing view in the terrace during the early breakfast. Without hesitating I rate refuge imlil “Exellent”.

The only thing I like the guide who was also in the hotel reception and he was the only one in the hotel , preparing our breakfast ...
-Unfortunately the shower was cold , and they did not fix it, and the owner of the hotel he does not care at all. after coming back from toubkal was really a bad surprise for all of us .
-The rooms are sooo cold , usually in such area the each room should at least have a heater.We slept in our sleeping bag:(
-Breakfast was really bad , unhealthy, and is not good especially to climb after so we went to buy eggs for them to cook it for us .
-no soaps no shampoo and no toilet paper in the bathroom:(
