Monteverde Ecolodge is a wonderful place to stay. Rooms are nice and well equipped. We had the excellent top suite under the roof. The landlady was very kind and helpful with local information. The location is top (near to most activities but quiet) and there are a couple of good restaurants around. So enjoy your stay - it's pura vida! And once again ¡Grascias! to the landlady!

Unfortunatelly a room next to secondaey entrance so a lot of noises. No side bed lamp. Shared bathroom. No view from Window - covred from outside.

The staff were really friendly with lots of helpful information about activities in the area. The breakfast was good too!

It was a little bit cold in the rooms and in the shower! Easy to access with a car, but quite a steep walk up from the town centre by foot.

The property is beautiful. Hardwood floors can make it a bit loud at times but all guests are really respectful of that. Very friendly animals on the property and the staff is more than willing to help you with booking tours or finding local places !

It was a bit cold in the room, possibly because of the gap between the door and side of the doorframe.

The hotel building is very pleasant; it's on a hill but close enough to the center where all the restaurants are. Breakfast was good and the lady who prepared it was really friendly.

Steps to the upper floors are very steep which might be a problem for elder people: it certainly is a problem to get heavy luggage to your room. No place to store our belongings in the room except for some hooks. Only shared bathrooms and for us it was one floor below; although there is enough space to add a bathroom in the attic.
