Amabilidad del personal, limpieza del lugar, la vista de la habitacion es hermosa, muy cómodo. El desayuno fue bueno,podría ser mejor, quizas incorporar productos de la zona.

Que el portón del estacionamiento quedara abierto durante la noche y deberían incorporar televisores más actualizados.

Spectacular location on the coast, the staff were incredible and the entire place was constantly clean. Kitchen had everything one would need and the rooms were tipity top.

We would stay in this hotel again - and recommend. Our family of 4 lodged in 1 room for 1 night en route to other parts of Chiloe. It was spacious and adequately comfortable for all of us. The bathroom was big and the shower, best of all hostels during our 3 week stay. But, the BEST part of this hotel was the attached restaurant.....we had simply fantastic food (fresh seafood + vegetarian + great handcrafted pisco sours! It seemed to be a fav local spot as well - others ordered burgers, which looked great!) If you stay here, be sure to have dinner as well. Breakfast was included in our stay and was not fancy - but fresh and real food. Lobby was a lovely spot to sit -including the sunroom overlooking the bay across the street. Off street parking was very helpful.

There was a main floor kitchen for guest use....full refrig and stove....because I am the early riser of the family, I was looking forward to this for an early morning cup of coffee...... but, it was not stocked. :(

The seaview, very clean, very nice restaurant. Arriving early from a nightbus, we had the chance to do an early check-in, thanks again !

I had visited this hostal twice in previous years and was looking forward to a return, but what a disappointment. Fortunately, the location, cleanliness and friendliness of staff remain unchanged and the quibbles about the building itself are minor. For example, a large modern bathroom had only a miniscule washbasin and little shelving for toiletries, and the sophisticated shower lacked a tray for shampoo and soap, and the doors tothe room and the bathroom require minor adjustments.

The major problem is the restaurant which now shares the premises and dominates and spoils it. It has loud music until quite late and which can be heard in the bedrooms, it occupies, what was previously communal space inside and outside the hostal and now is the site of the worst organised breakfast I`ve encountered: shambles is a gross understatement. You have to hunt and/or wait a long time for your food and I saw a family reduced to eating at an uncleared table. The sole person trying to cope with this is a very nice but inexperienced girl, for whom I felt sorry: the layout and lack of tables would present problems for even several experienced waiters. They say that the restaurant is quite good but when I asked if there wee a paper menu (as I don`t have a smart phone) the man in charge simply turned his back on me. Chileans who witnessed this were disgusted by him. Previously, I would have recommended the hostal to anyone but now to no one.

Fantastic stay, the staff was excellent and helpful. The breakfast was really good. The room and the commun sanitaires were very clean.

The room next to me was full with teenagers and they made nose until midnight and then they restarted at seven in the morning. A bit more of noise isolation between the rooms and with that it would have been perfect.

Our room was very cosy and comfortable, with a nice view on the sea. The hostal is well located in Ancud and the staff is very friendly! There is also a beautiful common area with a well equipped kitchen

Staff helpful, very friendly and patient with us, especially given our Spanish is limited. Helped us plan an outing to see the penguins and find a restaurant open in Ancud on Christmas day.

Restaurant in the hostel can be noisy until closing (our room was directly above) and in the morning when they start getting ready for the day. But that is a very minor complaint - the restaurant was quite good as well! Just be aware they do not take credit cards for payment.

Very friendly and welcoming team. Warm, cosy, very spacious room with a large window and a view over the bay. Great shower.

Perfect view from all the Rooms at the ocean. Really enjoyed the small porch. Breakfast was decent.

For a hostal category accommodation we were very satisfied with our double room with private bathroom and wonderful views. The staff were very charming, helpful, efficient, delightful people to meet on arrival, see at breakfast, etc.

Not a problem for us as we are not extremely early sleepers... but the restaurants dinner clients can be heard from the room so if very early to bed perhaps another location. It was not a problem for us at all.

Breakfast starts too late, but we were offered a small breakfast for early departure. It was set up in the evening for self service. Not the hotels fault, no restaurant open in Ancud on a Sunday evening.Finally we found a food truck near the church.

I liked almost everything in this hostel: excellent location, beautiful building with a pleasant garden, perfect cleanliness, marvellous views both from the rooms and from common areas, large room with excellent lightening and a comfortable bed, plenty of warm water at any time in the bathroom, good breakfast with many options also for vegetarians, very efficient and kind staff.

The washstand in the bathroom was tiny, therefore spilling lots of water on the floor was unavoidable; the shower was very modern, with several side faucets for water massage, but it was not possible to close them, so the amount of water from the main faucet was not strong enough. Future guests should know that the room is not cleaned nor the bed made during the time you remain in the hostel, only between guests, even in single or double rooms.
