Lucky 8 hotels loction is superb. Tube station is just 1 min ahead.all the restaurant and daily need shops are nearby. Security is good. Stuff also very cooperative. Breakfast is so yummy. I thik this is a very good hotel.I highly recommend this hotel.

Same type breakfast everyday. We stayed this hotel 13 night so sometimes we board same eating same type breakfast daily. Should be change sometimes.

Close to rail links

Breakfast handed to us in a paper bag, no utensils. Room was poorly laid out, the bathroom door didn't open fully as the bed was in the way. This was meant to be a non smoking room yet the bathroom reeked of smoke and the extractor fan was greasy with smoke tar.

Liked the closeness / Access into the City and local shopping spree at the Westfield Centre (Stratford) was a mere few stops away for convenience.

Location was not the BEST, but hey it was Ilford, not Notting Hill...lol Mixed cosmopolitan community in the heart of London, that's the most that can be said about Location, Location!!! Lol 😆

Bigger room than expected

No breakfast was available.. no towels in room.. one member of staff (nightshift male) couldn’t of cared less. Unsafe local area

Damaged and glued toilet seat room 11. Pillows thin as crispy pancakes. Night staff wasn't available for an hour when our hotel key stopped working and we couldn't get in our room at 12.30 am ... no breakfast there.....but it was over the road at another hotel that we could of had as they are owed by the same people.

I liked the hotel the previous time we stayed here. Therefore we booked again. Never felt so I welcomed by the staff before! There was nothing to like this time we stayed there over the weekend.

Everything! We booked the hotel over 2days period. We called earlier and informed them that we will be checking late. When we arrived they have given us a room away from the main hotel with no phone connection, poor internet connection and hairdryer in it. The next day Saturday we went to the reception before 11am and requested cleaning of the room, sweeteners as my partner is diabetic and for a hairdryer. The girl on the reception told that she is going to send someone and my partner left. I had office work and waited the whole day for room service and hairdryer. I called the reception but the girl said she don’t have time to speak, she doesn’t have hairdryer and to switch the phone on and off. For few times the reception didn’t picked up the phone calls as I had to call from my phone and didn’t turn up even after saying they will. The girl in the reception mentioned that she is trying to sell the other rooms so there goes the room change! I couldn’t operate my laptop the whole day and couldn’t contact anyone. My one days work was ruined because of the inefficient staff of Lucy 8 hotel. The hotel didn’t cleaned the room, didn’t provided clean towel, no toiletries, no sweetener or refreshment service, no phone and no Wi-fi connection. My question is for the OWNER of the hotel- IF YOU DONT HAVE ENOUGH LITERATE STAFF AND ENOUGH SUPPLY WHY WOULD YOU DO BUSINESS WHICH IS ENTIRELY DEPENDS ON CUSTOMER SERVICE??!!
