It was a total pleasure to stay at Allan Guesthouse. The business is run by a family that is super friendly, caring and attentive at all times. From the moment I arrived until I left they were super nice. They served me the best breakfast I had in Sri Lanka, abundant and delicious. The room on the first floor is very simple and with everything you need. Don't expect luxuries. It overlooks the road and can be a bit noisy. The rooms on the second floor can be quieter. I recommend this place. The family and their charisma made my stay very pleasant. The location is super top. Across the street and you are on the beach, also just a 10 min walk to the coconout Tree Hill.

We had a great time in Allan Guest Mirissa. The room and bathroom were clean, we had a nice terrace and it is only 2 minutes walk from the beach and close to the coconut and parrots hill. We got the best breakfast in Sri Lanka and everyone was so nice and kind, we also prolonged our stay :)

Decent room with AC. Great owner a lot of smiling and tasty breakfast.

Quite noisy road close to the hotel

Host are exceptionally good and helpful,though very poor in English communication.provided exceptionally good breakfast.property location was also very good,just few meter walk to the beach.considering all above also,it's price seems to be little expensive compare to faculties available.

We only stayed here for one night before heading back to the airport, but the owner was incredibly friendly, even getting up at 5am to make breakfast for us and sorting out our taxi to the airport for a good price. The location was also amazing, literally just a cross the road from the beach. Just wished we’d stayed longer!

The place's great! The hostess is very friendly, serves fantastic breakfasts! You can see the ocean from the room! You go across the street and there's Mirissa Beach, a lovely place! The room was clean. The bed's comfortable. Good value for the price!
