a lovely welcome. the room was so homely. The bed very comfortable. Toiletries in the en suite a luxurious surprise. The breakfast was so tasty. If you could give more than 10 out of 10 then we certainly would.

A very warm welcome from the hosts, beautiful surroundings, comfortable, spotless rooms, delicious breakfast and the best nights sleep in ages. Also great for bikers as garage available to park our motorcycles safe inside.

Great location for a 1 night stopover from a trip to the Isle of Sky. Quiet rural location just 20 mins from Carlisle. Lovely hosts, very clean & comfortable room. Breakfast excellent. Would stay here again.

Owners are lovely, really chatty and accommodating, breakfast is fab and surroundings are beautiful. decor is modern, fresh and welcoming.

the beds are probably fine if you don’t have back issues, with back issues it was one of the worst beds I’ve slept in unfortunately, could barely stand in the morning.

very clean, nice quiet rural location

Very comfortable and nicely decorated guesthouse in the cute village of Easton near the start of the Hadrians Wall walk. Not really close to anything so a car would be useful, although it seemed there was a shuttle to a nearby pub. Owners very friendly. Breakfast fantastic (apparently it has won awards) and you can also get lunch. I got my room upgraded and the roll top bath was amazing after a long days walk.

Excellent breakfast to set you up for the day. Location off the beaten track nice and quiet except for the birds and cows, but they are pleasant noises, if in the area again we would stay at midtown again.

Janice and Caleb were absolutely fantastic! The property was beautiful and our room was incredibly comfortable. Breakfast the next day was also excellent!

Small family run B&B in the middle of nowhere on the Esk estuary, the family room is a decent size and comfortable though curiously with a bath in the middle of the bedroom, Galaxy hot chocolate and stem ginger biscuits always an excellent choice.

Definitely off the beaten track, lots of ripe fragrant smells of the countryside and neighbouring farms, no food options nearby, expensive optional breakfast for a B&B. This is a small house with 3 quest rooms packed tightly together, internal noise issues, lack of privacy and limited parking are all potential problems.

The whole stay from beginning to end was enjoyable enhanced by the special relationship between Midtown and The Bush Inn at Kirkbride. The free taxi service there and back (8 miles) was second to none. Janice and Caleb, you were brilliant with a special mention for Colin at The Bush. Janice's breakfast was superb!

Super cosy, great breakfast and fantastic ownership ... fantastic value for money and a must use gem of a bed and breakfast if walking Hadrian's wall!

Hard to find anything wrong at all but I suppose I couldn't find the TV remote which didn't affect me since I only put the TV on for background noise and I'm sure Janice and Caleb would of been able to help if I had needed it ... honestly it was an amazing stay, great value for money and by far the best place I stayed at on my journey, which included a stay at a real life 14th century castle ... so yeah, a must stay! 10/10

Janice and Caleb (?) have created a wonderfully comfortable oasis in the midst of an idyllic English countryside setting. They have thought of every detail and are wonderful cooks!

Everything was extraordinary, I only wish we had more time to spend there!
