Located on the main road about 500 metres from Salzburg train station, clear check-in instructions, clean room, good room size, standing fan provided in room if it gets hot when windows are closed, comfortable bed... overall a great stay!
No elevator ... Have to carry luggage using the stairs.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist sehr gut, mit dem Manko das man vorbeifahrende Züge hört (kommt aber nicht so oft vor). Zimmergröße war ok. Die Anbindungen sind super, man ist recht schnell überall.
Für den Preis bin ich besseres gewohnt, mag für die Stadt aber gut sein. Das Haus ist alt, Wifi ist schlecht, Duschwasser läuft schlecht ab. Zimmer könnte sauberer sein.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at this hotel that is very close (walkable) to the train station. Our room for 3 people was not too small and had a very nice bathroom. Even on a main street, it was not too noisy. The staff were welcoming and helpful. We had a good fan that helped with the air flow and kept us cool enough to sleep. The location was also very good for visiting Salzburg on foot and also very close to bus stops to reach farther afield. We had no problems during our stay. A good value for the price.
Unfortunately, the third bed (like a sofa bed) was not very comfortable at all, even for a small teenager, so this room for three really would be best for 2 people instead.

The location was excellent, close proximity to all the attractions that we wanted to visit.
Providing hand soap in the washroom would have been appreciated, we had to provide our own.

The location of the hotel and room space.
The hotel had no escalators or lift to go to another levels. The room had no bar fridge to keep your food. This was a bit disappointing as we checked in after 3pm and had to take our suitcases to second floor.

Easy walk (7 mins) from central station. Handy to all the things you want to see including restaurants and cafes. Panorama Tour pick up point at Mirabell Gardens was no more than 5 min walk (in a straight line from hotel). Friendly and helpful staff. We could check in early and leave our luggage after check out. Liked having cheap drinks available from fridge in foyer area. Kettle and mugs were available from reception for making hot drinks (note you need your own supplies). Large room, comfortable bathroom, fresh towels and room refresh each day. 1st floor we had opening windows to cool the room as needed.
Our room was a little noisy from people standing on the stairs landing and having loud conversations (maybe a reminding notice could help alleviate this?). Also a little noise from street or front door slamming as we were right over top of it but that wasn't a big deal as noises settled down during sleeping times.

Bathroom was not cleaned, there where toe nails and hair on the floor and in the shower. Shower drain was not working, so water was not going off. I asked for this to be fixed, but it was not done for my whole stay. No solution (room change, discount) was proposed.

The room was very comfortable, quiet, warm, a small modular bathroom that worked very well.
Late check in, easily sorted as you are given a pin number to get your key from the key box. Great idea.
Good location, juts 2 minutes walk to the Mirabelle gardens and 10 minutes into the centre of Salzburg.
No food offered but a great cafe next door.

Check-in was extremely smooth. We arrived in Salzburg on an early train and the front desk was able to hold our luggage before our 3 pm check in time. They even put our luggage in our room for us so that when we arrived late that day and checked ourselves in, everything was safe and waiting for us in our room. Great shower water pressure, and comfiest bed we had our whole 10 day trip. Great location as well, it was easy to walk to and from the train station as well as to the old town/Mirabellplatz (maybe 7 min walk from the train station, 7-10 min walk from Mirabell? I didn't keep track of the time because it was a pleasant walk with pretty things to pass). Overall we found Salzburg to be a very walkable city, as the public transport doesn't really get you that much faster or closer. We don't spend a lot of time in our hotel while traveling, but it did the job as our home base for 3 days in Salzburg.
