Very helpful host, wonderful spacious room, great location! Host gave us a map and in-depth suggestions on where to go which was much appreciated

Central location within walking distance of bars and restaurants. On street parking. Large room with art dec ceiling, balcony and fridge. Adriana is a mine of local information.
Due to the location it can be noisy but the double glazed patio doors keep out most of the noise.

Everything was just awesome and smooth. Adriana is great host, she welcomed me after the check-in time without any extra costs. She gave me really nice and useful tips, was nice to comunicate.

The room was very big and clean. The shower was amazing. Location very good. Considering the price being good this is a GREAT value

Overall, I was satisfied with everything but the hostess's kind information was very useful. That information was useful throughout the trip to Sicily.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming upon check in. Room was spacious and clean. Great location, convenient to main square and central station.
The air conditioning unit in the room was defective and would make very loud banging noises periodically throughout the night. There is a lot of road noise also so it is impossible to sleep with the windows open. Perhaps a fan in the room or having the air conditioning fixed would allow guests to get a decent night sleep.
The included Breakfast is a voucher for the cafe across the road. They only let you get one drink and one pastry. No healthy options like fruit or yogurt. Rude staff who clearly don't like tourists or guests with allergies/intolerances. Not good value for money at all.
Staff of the hotel were apologetic for issues but no offer or compensation or reassurance for a very unrestful night and disappointing morning.

Excellent location in the centre close to all the main sights. Beautiful old room and very clean.
If you're coming at a colder time of year, the room can take a while to heat up because of the beautiful high ceilings.

Due to the coronavirus they stopped serving breakfast right on the spot though there is a special breakfast room.
Instead you are given a coupon for breakfast in the bar across the street where you can choose only one drink (tea/coffee/juice etc.) and one pastry - that's it

Beautifully decorated and spacious rooms with high ceilings, perfectly situated to explore Messina and very easy to get to from the ferry. Lovely owner and staff.
It says free parking is available, but the hotel doesn't offer parking you need to find it on the street.

The owner is super kind and helpful. the room was clean and comfy. The location is nice, close to restaurants and in the city centre.
breakfast. the service is out-sourced to a close-by bar, but the personnel there is quite rude. also, it was rather poor (one drink+one choice of food) and not particularly good - there are other places around where pastries are way better.

Welcoming reception English speaking, with good advice for the city and beach at Torre Faro. Nice facilities in the room and lots of decoration. Breakfast voucher for the bar on the opposite of the street, and a drop off with the car to the ferry. The bnb is good reachable by public shuttle bus, which stops just in front.
The city itself is not particularly quite attractive and there were some small bars under my room. Because of the warm period, a lot of people stayed outside till late, which made it difficult to get a good night rest. It also would be nice to have some shelves (or storage possibilities) in the closet, because there wasn't a lot of space to store your luggage.

This property is absolutely exquisite. The attention to detail in the decor was outstanding and it was extremely comfortable. The owner was very helpful and explained the nearby amenities, and had arranged discounts with some local restaurants and bars. The breakfast was not provided on site due to Covid but had been arranged with a cafe over the road and we had no trouble. The location was also excellent, just a couple of minutes walk from the cathedral.

The decoration of the rooms was very relaxing . The shower was good and the bathroom huge. We had a good breakfast. It was nice to be in a B and B run by a family. We were given a lift to the ferry in the morning which was very helpful.
Its a bit noisy outside on the road at night. However my husband didnt notice it and I am a light sleeper.
