The room was a very great size and contained everything you needed plus more such as, a coffee machine, tablet, free wifi, bottled water. The room had a large stand in shower which was great.
Breakfast was amazing! It was buffet style and we were spoilt for choice. Lots of fresh fruit, local meats and cheeses, hot breakfasts, yoghurts, pastries and preserves. Could not fault!!!
The staff are also very accommodating and keen to help with any enquiries you might have.
The location of the hotel is right in the hub of of the city. There are so many restaurants and bars within just a minute's walk. The main high street is also just around the corner. The harbour is only about a 5-10 minute walk and is nice to walk around.
We also had a hire car. if you really want to see Crete, I would say this is the best way to get around. The hotel has a partnership with a local car park where you can park for €6 euros a night. Perfect for us! We used the car to get around Crete during the day and then back to Heraklion for the evening to enjoy the great nightlife.
There's not really much to fault. My only comments are that the beds were two singles put together I know that this is relatively standard in a lot of hotels. The comfort rating was ok.

Breakfast was above average. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Location is right on the edge of the "old city" where there are no cars and lots of night life.

A great city hotel in walking proximity to the port and the city center. The room was very well thought out and very comfy.

The location is very good. Near to restaurants, shops, pharmacy and bus station. The hotel is modern, clean and the bed is very comfortable. Also, you have a security box on the room. The breakfast was generous and you have several options from salty to sweets. Before booking here, I've read other customer reviews, and I don't understand the bad reviews. I highly recommend Olive Green Hotel! the receptionist were very helpful and friendly! 🙂

..At reception the didn't give us clear indication for public transport and which ticket to buy. The check in procedure was doubling the booking. Com procedure.
The hotel is very new and says is an Eco hotel.. However it felt entering into a refrigerator.. Not very Eco at all

Breakfasts were very good, we also liked the restaurant. Room was quite nice and very clean.
At night it was pretty noisy with the street and courtyard so we had to keep the window closed. It got a little hot so I had to keep turning the AC down. I also had asked for a transfer and they never showed up. They did apologize and gave us a free transport to the airport so I was happy they made it right.
