The room was big and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was enough for us with a variety of cheeses and sweets. The staff were helpful and kept our luggage safe after we checked out.

The room attendant is very nice, he can speak a little spanish, the fat cat in the hotel is so cute.

The door of the hotel need to be locked by yourself, the light in this room is too dim, the walls in the public areas are a bit dilapidated.

Prix du petit déjeuner chère par rapport à ce qui est proposé. Parking payant, 10€ ça reste exorbitant par rapport aux hôtels aux alentours chez qui le parking est généralement inclus.

The rooms were not so clean.

Excellent location, lovely breakfast, comfortable room and bed, lots of amenities nearby, handy for metro, was very warm during my stay but desk fan was supplied which provided some relief

Bathroom was a bit small, I just about managed in the shower and I am small, bit of noise from other guests and people smoking outside at night

Staff were accommodating with some encouragement when they were unable to provide a twin room which was requested several weeks in advance

No twin beds available despite option and plenty of notice. Studio that was provided was half way through being updated

The breakfast was excellent; however, it would be even better if the person serving the breakfast wore gloves, especially, while cutting cheese. Otherwise, breakfast was a true highlight of each day of our stay at the hotel.

Cozy hotel close to the European quarter and central Brussels. A nice and kind host brings you to the room. Complimentary two bottles of water and coffee in the room. Very good breakfast.

Nothing especially wrong, but worth to mention: - room and equipment rather basic, size of the room just right to accommodate the bed - terribly awkward steps (there's a lift, so I believe, not used very often, but still) - wobbly water tap in the bathroom

Cheap(ish) and cheerful

I stayed in Hotel Meribel in May 2023. The room was excellent, lots of space, clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast is good, very Turkish, and the person at the reception always very attentive and friendly. There's a pet cat at the reception as well, which was no problem for me. The hotel is close to a market (3-min walking). The hotel is also close to metro stations (5-min walking), which lead to the city center, main train station and Atomium. There also a bus stop in 5-min walking, which connects directly to the airport, and you can buy the ticket on the bus with your contactless card when boarding (about 2,60 Euro). If you prefer walking to the city center and main attractions it takes about 20-min, otherwise there is a tram. Overall I would stay again in this hotel when back to Brussels. Thanks for having me!
