5 grandes chambres avec un mélange de la reine et les jumeaux sont en vedette dans la maison pour accueillir différentes tailles de familles. 3 chambres ont une salle de bains. 2 chambres (un lit queen lits chambres et d'une chambre à deux lits) sont reliés par une salle de bains, parfait pour une famille avec peut-être les petits enfants. Chaque salle de bain a une douche tandis que 3 des 4 ont aussi une baignoire. Nous avons entendu nos clients et pris note! Toutes les chambres ont des matelas neufs, le meilleur IKEA a, et tout nouvel air conditionné dans chaque chambre. Nouveaux meubles dans les deux salons!
Mijas, le «blanc pittoresque village'of Andalousie, offre toutes les commodités modernes de l'épicerie / souvenier achats, plus merveilleuses expériences gastronomiques. Notre famille a toujours aimé El Olivar à côté de la mairie et si vous êtes un fanatique de football, vous devez regarder un match populaire et dîner à El Canuelo. Plus loin dans le village, vous trouverez la vieille place, seulement arènes carré de l'Espagne et des reliefs du 17ème siècle trouvé dans les plus anciennes et les plus belles églises de la ville. Jardins, aire de jeux et un amphithéâtre ornent cette partie supérieure de la ville.
En dehors de Mijas, il existe de nombreux sites culturels. Dans le lecteur d'une journée, vous pourrez visiter le célèbre château maure, Alhambra à Grenade, ou la haute village de Ronda, voire Séville et Cordoue. Malaga, capitale de l'Andalousie, possède de nombreux sites culturels et un célèbre jardin botanique dans le centre de la ville. Ne manquez pas de vieux bars à tapas façonné à Malaga. Mijas Golf, à 10 minutes au sud de la maison, est un parcours de 36 trous découpés dans une ancienne plantation d'arbres d'olive. Environ 20 minutes de la maison est de La Cala, la maison d'hiver pour l'équipe nationale suédoise Golf. Vallederama, le cours de la Ryder Cup, est à environ 35 minutes de Las Columnas. Si vous cherchez un vrai parcours de bord de mer, essayez Torrequebrada, à environ 20 minutes au sud de la maison. Un, petit cours nichée dans les collines au nord-est de Mijas est Lauro Golf-grande valeur pour l'argent et a ouvert des heures de départ toujours.

Large property with lots of spaces, kitchen was great but the rest of the property needs some tlc. Pool is very deep and only suitable for very competent swimmers

A beautiful house, in its day, in an enviable location. The bones of the house are exceptional but the kitchen, the bathrooms and windows need to be updated. Simple things like a brush to sweep up were missing. More options in cooking dishes and crockery needed. Overall however a lovely house and communication with the owners was speedy, informative and friendly.

Have rented this for past 7 years. Never disappointed. Great for a large group. Only 20 min walk to Mijas Pueblo but watch out for steep hill at start or finish of your walk. Only 6€ for a taxi if you don’t feel like walking.

Spectacular property walking distance from the beautiful Mijas village. We absolutely loved it as a base for a golfing trip and will definitely be back.

The perfect house for two familys of four, as each family can have their own wing, also there is an extra bedroom for two guests on the bottom floor. Plenty of bathrooms and space in general. Not forgetting the spectacular view! The pool however is not heated, so if you want full use of the pool I wouldn’t recommend oct/nov. The host was very easy to communicate with, and there was no problem checking out earlier than 10 am.

could not have asked for a more beautiful setting
The villa is magnificent. The views of the sea are spectacular. The villa is surrounded by ancient Roman columns and designed in the Moorish tradition. Very cozy in the winter with a lovely fire place in the dining room and a lovely lounge with comfortable seating. The kitchen is quite functional but its the terraces that make this incredible home. Terraces are everywhere, for privacy upstairs, or with family downstairs. Highly recommend Las Columnas

Great place to stay!
Las Columnas was the perfect place to stay during our first trip to Spain! It was welcoming , spacious and tastefully furnished with all the essential amenities. We loved the gorgeous grounds and the huge patio and pool.

Beautiful villa! Breathtaking views can’t be beat!
We enjoyed this authentic villa with four couples comfortably staying for a week. Great central location with easy day trips to Malaga, Marbella, Ronda and Grenada. Don’t forget the quaint town of Mijas, which is nestled into the mountain. I highly recommend this property and will be sure to come back.

Beautiful house on a beautiful property. Everything was clean. The house had a traditional, yet subtle charm. The view from the pool/backyard area is incredible. I love this house!

Beautiful setting
We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home. Could not have asked for a more stunning view. Sara and her husband William made sure we had everything we needed. The town of Mijas was quaint and extremely friendly. Well worth visiting for a true feel of Spanish hospitality.

Lovely villa with large pool & great views
Spacious villa, very well laid out with shaded terraces either side of a central fountain, large pool & gardens & great views. On the ground floor there is a lounge, dining room, kitchen, bedroom & bathroom. Was ideal for our family holiday for 10 people - the children loved the huge pool. It's a steep walk down to Mijas, but only a few minutes drive. We enjoyed visiting Mijas - it has plenty of good restaurants & shops. Don't forget to take the kids to make chocolate at the chocolate factory! We would love to rent this villa again. Owner & agent very helpful.

Very impressive property. Perfect shape and size for a family holiday
Must be the most impressive villa in the Mijas area. Good value price for what's on offer. Great pool and gardens. Lovely terrace. 5 good size bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Lots of space to chill out. 15mins walk to the edge of Mijas Pueblo. Ideal to drive in for the evening and leave the car til the next morning. Taxi back only 6 euros.
Only 15 mins to the airport. 10 mins to the beach.
Perfect location to explore Andalusia.

Fantastic views, supreme relaxation, amazing villa!
We recently had a fantastic 2-week stay at Las Columnas...as many other reviewers have mentioned the pictures here understate this amazing property - it looks even better in person. We really enjoyed lounging by the pool, having a glass of wine on the patio late in the evening, and just taking in the scenery and enjoying the serenity as a family. The house is spacious, a/c works great, beds are comfortable, and just a lot of living spaces to spread out. They recently upgraded some appliances in the kitchen, and do a great job keeping the property clean and well maintained inside and out.
The town of Mijas is absolutely lovely, and you are within range of some great tapas and dinner places with a 10-min walk. Now the hill from the villa is rather steep, so keep it in mind based on the ability and age of your group - we would often walk into town which is easy, and then if not up for the walk back up the hill just grab a taxi for only 5-euro (there are always multiple taxis parked in the town center). The beaches are about a 15-minute drive and there are quite a few to choose from, but it is hard to pull yourself away from the pool! If you want to see Southern Spain, it is a great jumping off point as Granada, Seville, etc are all possible as day trips from this location.
The owner (Nell) and the villa manager (Sara) were fantastic throughout the trip. Sara would text regularly to see if we needed anything at all, and any questions we had were answered promptly. They provide a great guide to the area, including excellent dining recommendations and activities.
One minor caution I would point out is that the internet service in Southern Spain can be hit or miss at times (slow speeds), but the cellular connection is great, so bringing an LTE hotspot is an option worth considering if you need guaranteed connectivity.
We would absolutely stay at Las Columnas again, and will definitely book if our travels bring us back to this area! (I hope it is soon...) Thanks for everything Nell!

Ideal place for a relaxing meet up with family or friends
Beautiful spacious property. Fantastic views from the terrace. Pool is lovely, large and deep. The expansive terrace is an ideal entertaining space. We hosted a lovely birthday celebration and would highly recommend Michael Taylor (taylor made catering in Spain) for catering for any get together. Mijas is a lovely little town. We always took the car down as road up to the villa is narrow, steep and winding - didn't fancy pushing baby buggies up the hill! If I was to try and find a fault it would be to suggest to Nell that a larger fridge or additional drinks chiller would have been welcomed. Communication with Nell the owner and Sara who cares for the property couldn't be faulted.

Located in quaint Mijas-special place. Short walk to town, great restaurants and shopping. Caretakers were very personable and helpful. Pool was refreshing. Beautiful landscaping. The property is clean and welcoming and has fantastic views
We enjoyed our visit and the outside space and pool was great for a large group of people. The beds may feel a little uncomfortable after several nights I fear and I wish there had been more adequate air conditioning available as it was very hot! Regardless the views are fantastic and we felt at home. Mijas is a great village which we visit on a regular basis and although the villa is a 20 min walk away (some of it very steep!) we did mange it. A taxi however was only 7 euro if needed. The property and location was just as expected and clean. The owner was very helpful and we had a note of the housekeepers details although we didn't need her. I would recommend the property but would probably be clear that the air con could be better and that the beds although clean have seen better days. The fountains to the front and rear could be working perhaps or removed as the poolside one especially was a bit grubby and our four year old did fall over it and hurt his foot. Make sure you try a donkey ride or the horses which are well looked after. Unfortunately during this visit quite extensive roadworks were ongoing but will only improve the overall look of the town when finally finished.

Simply Magical!
What an amazing home and town. Mijas was just adorable and quaint. The perfect getaway for peace and relaxation. This home was exactly what the description said and more! I would recommend anyone who needs to just recharge to go here and stay at this beautiful home. I hope to return very soon!

Las Columnas was like our own private luxury resort!
Our group of six family members could not have been happier with our choice for our ten day stay on the Costa Del Sol. The landscaping with so many gardens and beautiful flowers, huge pineapple palms, and tropical vegetation was amazing and we found ourselves unable to stop taking photos of the panoramic view of the Mediterranean coast. The pool was sparklingly clean. There were so many outside seating areas we found ourselves having trouble deciding where to enjoy the view with our wine! The interior was spacious with lovely wall hangings, antiques and comfortable furniture for hanging out. Each couple enjoyed private bathrooms and those in the master bedrooms awoke to the giant palms outside their window. Mijas was a delight with a great selection of restaurants, shops and friendly people. The owner responded very quickly to the couple of questions we had. We would go back in a heartbeat!

Wow. Fantastic
We stayed at Los Columnas for a week during the Easter holidays. 5 adults and 2 kids (4 and 7).
The house was just fantastic. Stunning view, large clean rooms, well equipped kitchen, big clean pool. I could go on. The pictures doesn't lie, or actually they do, it´s even better than the pictures. Everything was absolutely perfect.
The house is situated in a quiet area just a 15 min walk to Mijas town centre, with all the restaurants, cafés and shops.
The contact to the owner was very good and helpful, both before and during the stay.
We will definitely come back, and we can absolutely recommend Los Columnas.

Unforgettable and a MUST return trip!!
We recently spent a week in paradise at this house! The pictures don't even begin to do it justice! We arrived fresh off of a long week of traveling and immediately felt right at home. The house comfortably slept 10 adults and with multiple families, no one ever felt like they were on top of each other. The entire property is immaculately kept and the gardens are enough to take your breath away, however, if that isn't enough, just glace over the pool to a amazing view all the way down to the beach and to Morocco on clear days!
With multiple living areas and a great dining room, you could spend all your time enjoy the interior of the house but with a veranda and pool area big enough for another house, you won't need to! The house had a fully equipped patio table, big enough for all 10 of us to enjoy meals and company long into the late daylight. For the golfers in the group, the nearby courses will provide challenging and enjoyable golf. If you are not in the golfing group, you will be pleased relaxing by the pool or taking short day trips to the amazing beaches and attractions all around.
The house provides entertainment for all groups and ages and would be an amazing spot for a family reunion, girls or guys weekend, or just a relaxing time for a couple of friends. The airport is only a 30 minute drive away and easily provides access to all over Europe if you should continue your travels. We were all very disappointed when they time came to come and I truly hope to spend another week
(or more!) there in the future!!

This is as Good as it Gets
This house has everything and is in a location that will just take your breath away. The view from the balconies, patios and the pool are incredible. The Costa del Sol, the beautiful Mediterranean and on a clear day, Africa. This is a big, comfortable house with four bedrooms and baths and a nice kitchen. There is an outdoor grill and a washing machine. It is great for a good sized family or a group of couples or a girl's or guys get away. There is a big living room and dining room, but you will spend all of your time on the patio relaxing or eating. There is a large dining table on the patio, comfy seating area and lots of lounge chairs by the pool.
So look no further. You might be happy just to stay at the house. If not, the beautiful white village of Mijas is minutes away, the beach is a short drive, there are dozens of golf courses, and many great day trips. Gibralter and La Alhambre in Grenada are easy day trips that are well worth it. We did not have young kids with us but there were lots of ads for waterparks, zoos, etc. Bonus that the Spanish resdients that you meet are lovely: friendly, helpful, welcoming and willling to go out of their way to make your vacation perfect. Lots of English spoken.
Book this house and have a vacation that will leave you rested, relaxed and with a life time of memories.

Simply the Best...
I just returned from an extraordinary vacation at "Las Columnas". Overlooking the towns of Mijas and Fuengirola, with the Mediterranean as a backdrop, the views from the villa are magical both day and night. The accommodations are comfortably elegant, with one of the best pools ever. No matter what you interests are, from fine dining, beaches, golf, cycling, walking, touring the surrounding countryside, or simply enjoying your beverage of choice by the pool, "Las Columnas" is simply the best place to stay in the region. WOW !
What an amazing place. A slice of heaven . The house views were breathtaking - both day and night. The Mediterranean during the day and the night lights of Fuenjirola at night. All of the great towns were all close in driving distance .The lovely town of Mijas was just mins away . I am already set on going back next year.

My husband and I stayed at Las Columnas in July 2011 for our honeymoon. The house was overly spacious for the two of us, but spacious enough for a family or a few couples as well. We loved the various patios and teh pool is a huge selling point. The view was tremendous. We loved eating breakfast out on the patio. The kitchen was spacious and beds comfortable. The property management company was quite helpful as well. We would love to go back.
