1. We checked in to a room that was not clean properly 2. Staff informed housekeeping has gone home 3. Bathroom shower head broken 4. Hotel management staffs not helpful and attended the matter with a sour face 5. Manager are also not compensating for the bad service with the reason booking is done via booking.com

Old and run down. Badly in need of renewal. Housekeeping staff doing slipshod work. Did not complete their tasks and just rushed through and had to be informed what to do. Lifts buttons and sensors don’t work well causing my and my family members to get hit by the lift doors many times. Phone not being able to call to reception resulting in the guest having to go to lobby for requests. No manager on duty on a Sunday morning which is usually the timing that most guest will check out. Requested for a call back which never came. I have stayed at this property many times in the past few years and it WAS wonderful. It is really bad now. Service is bad, rooms are old, pillows are so flat that they are like old pieces of cloth with no fluff and structure, TV channels are totally uninteresting with minimal international channels. And the property charges a very premium price. If not for the fact that the property is located at a very convenient location near my family home I will surely not stay here again. In fact, I think it may be cheaper to just pay for transport than pay for such bad service and amenities from Somerset group. I know my complaints will jus the buried away but I will write straight to Singapore HQ on this matter.
