温泉街中心部で散策や朝市など楽しめました。
部屋が西日で暑い日でしたが、繁華街なので窓を開けておくと雑多音や視線が気になりましたね。

Everything about this place suited me perfectly! The location, the amazing room, the hospitality, the cafe-style included breakfast & the fantastic sushi restaurant in the same building. The sushi was so good I ate there both nights of my stay. Looking forward to returning in winter sometime.

Room was good, bathroom quite small though, but satisfactory, Complementary breakfast was good. Friendly english speaking staff member on reception had some helpful advice for where to go.

We have stayed at Shiro Nozawa 3 times over the past few years and love it as a base for our family and group of friends to celebrate the holidays including cooking a Christmas dinner for 14 pp including kidsl. Note that there are big differences in room size and layout so if you want a bit more living room space you’ll need to check the room floor plans carefully
If you’re sharing a room with friends the shower/onsen is very exposed!

The location is great...very close to the electric walkway to the Hikage Gondola area, and also very central for getting to restaurants, shops and onsen in town. Breakfast is tasty and generous. Coffee is great. Staff are friendly and accomodating.

Breakfast was amazing. Staff was super friendly. I work from home and WiFi was amazing. We could walk to the ski slopes and to all dinner spots. So good we stayed another night. We had such an amazing stay. Thank you so much to the friendly staff for answering all of our questions and making our stay delightful. And the burger at the restaurant was one of the best I've had in Japan--and an excellent dart board at the bar on the basement level. Well done!! Amazing dry room where we could leave our skis and gear. What an amazing time. Arigato!
Nothing. I saw previous reviews say that the long hallway that leads to rooms is frustrating, but my husband and I found it pretty endearing and almost enjoyable (it's really not long). Very Japanese, really. Loved it all. Staying at Tanuki is such a great choice for getting the best experience in Nazowa Onsen. Truly.
