Beautiful setting. Enjoyed the walks and breakfast at the golf club house.

Weather was poor so as a result we ate at the restaurants. the menus were very basic and became boring at the end of our stay. The coffee shop in the hotel was not very inviting - staff could be friendlier.

I love the berg. Location was great, we were right behind the heated jacuzzi and swimming pool. Beautiful hikes and scenery, lots of activities, just the restaurants were very disappointing. They all don't open all of the time, different ones open for different meals like breakfast, lunch and dinner. we ended up having lunch at the country club and that was not good at all. The service and food was disappointing.

Definately NOT recommended for 6 adults. More for 4 adults and 2 teenagers. The steps to loft is very steep and the rungs are far apart. we went with 50 and 60 year olds and 1 x 82year old frail woman and it was really a mission helping elderly people up to the loft. For teenagers are young and stronger and easier to climb up. While asleep in the loft you get to enjoy rainwater dripping on your face. we had to move the beds away from where it was to avoid that. The lounge, dining table and tiny kitchen are all so cramped into one small open plan space. although the lounge is sunken, if you seated in the dining area, access to the rest of the unit like the tiny kitchen(although fully equipped), the bathrooms and bedrooms is totally blocked. Basically, the unit is very cramped and conjested. The parking is poorly marked and so far away from the unit, especially for a frail person that battles to walk, it always rains in the berg so you definately going to get wet hauling your luggage and everything else for a self catering unit. the place is not wheelchair friendly, does not cater for frail or disabled persons. I've stayed at places much better than this for half the price.

Took our staff to Fairways for a team build. Exceptional service from the staff ...cannot praise them enough!! Fantastic experience and great venue all round 10/10

Old towels .Insufficient pans,toaster wont stay down

That when we got there we were not expected we ended up on another room we did not book.
