Great property. Super nice and helpful owner. Location is perfect as it’s a short walk to the centre of Lucca and close to the Amphitheatre square which has all the lovely restaurants. Gated and secure car park space is a bonus.

A few hundred yards to a major Porta (entry point) into Lucca. Private free parking in a safe locked yard. The small but lovely house is very well appointed and immaculate. All the amenities you could hope for were provided, and our host spent a great deal of time helping us understand the city, neighborhood and recommended eateries etc. No reason to stay anywhere else.

Very clean and comfortable. Beautiful little touches made it feel homely, and some basics for the kitchen were provided, which was very helpful. Location is great - just outside the city walls, with a great little bakery and deli just round the corner. Host was very welcoming and made our stay very enjoyable.

Nothing to improve

Great location for exploring the town; the apartment was clean and nicely arranged; usually it was pretty quiet. We arrived earlier than the check-in time and the owners were kind enough to let us access the property.

For a couple of days the neighbors from the shared yard decided to start working at 7 o'clock in the morning. Right outside our bedroom window.

Everything! Good quality accommodation, style and attention to detail. Perfect location within 5 minutes walk of the city walls yet a very quiet and secluded spot behind secure gates with space for parking. The facilities were excellent and we were made to feel at home very quickly.

Everything was perfect for us. This was our second visit and we still recommend it to others. We hope to return again for a third time!

Great place to stay in Lucca. Basically a spacious cottage/coach house with separate living room, bedroom, full kitchen, and bath with a washing machine for laundry, which came in handy at that point in our trip. Also has a small, private outdoor patio with table and chairs. Located just outside the wall of the old city, an easy 3-4-minute walk to the nearest gate. Very quiet despite being near a busy road, as it's tucked away on the property. In addition to the great accommodations, the host, Massimo, could not have been more welcoming and helpful. He went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, including meeting us at the property upon arrival, helping us return our rental car, and arranging a taxi to the train station for our departure. He also was readily available via text or phone, which was much appreciated. An extremely gracious host. Grazie mille, Massimo!

Instructions for the washing machine would have been helpful, although we eventually figured it out. Mattress was a little too soft for us, but that's just personal preference.
