Close to sea. Nice community area. Peter Tosh memorial, place where he grew up. Newton the owner was a friend of Peter’s.

Lots of different vegetation. Newton knows a lot about growing good plants.

Location is close to the beach. Our room was in a traditional simple Jamican wooden bungalow. The host family where very welcoming. We felt ourselves very much at ease and relaxed staying in their compound.

It was cheap.

The rooms were dark as the windows were daubed with paint (for privacy maybe?) Building walls constructed of wattle and daub and painted in dark colours. A fresh lick of light paint would really help. Bedding and mattresses old but clean. The owner is a pleasant guy who kindly gave us 2 rooms close to each other for a little extra as the twin room was occupied. He was fairly understanding that we had to leave a day earlier.

It is a bit far from the beach if you don't have a car. Also, can be a bit loud during the animals at night.

Beautiful quiet place and great hosts. Very active and very cordial approach of the hosts. They will be happy and helpful in resolving your every request. He regularly cleans and tidy the room, including linen change. An ideal place for a private and quiet holiday. We can determine to recommend.

Nothing, i liked nothing about this place. But they are a couple km from "Mel's Botanical Retreat" and they are great. Mel's Botanical goes above and beyond.

The worst is that they dont communicate well. They will just take their phones off and leave you strawned in westmoreland just a couple hours before curfew.
