Our flight arrived at 11.15 but immigration was very slow (apparently normal) so we got out of the airport at 12.30ish. The Guesthouse provided a courtesy transfer car. Very, very impressed with transport and late check in. A very good breakfast on a terrace overlooking the Botanic Gardens. Precious is a few minutes walk from the entrance to the Botanic Gardens.

They couldn't change Euros and as we arrived late night we had no local currency - a minor hiccup.

The location, staff, and the garden were wonderful. The dinner and the breakfast were exceptional.

Staff were extremely helpful. For example, prepared breakfast for us at 6:30am since we had an early departure. Food in the restaurant was very good. Gardens are lovely, with nice tables to sit outside and enjoy. Within walking distance of Botanical Garden and Zoo. Free pickup from airport even late at night.

Precious Guesthouse was an unexpected little gem! I chose it as an overnight stay when I first arrived in Entebbe, and it far exceeded my expectations! The garden was lovely, and the restaurant had wonderful view and the perfect setting for breakfast, accompanied by birdsong. Situated directly opposite the Botanical Gardens and a short walk from the Zoo, on a quiet road, it couldn't have been in a better setting! A short distance in the opposite direction, at the entrance to the road is a shopping mall with ATM and everything you might need. I had a walk through the Botanical Gardens, accompanied by a local guide, a Botany student who was really informative, telling me all about the medicinal qualities of the plants and trees. The staff were lovely, Joan even came for a walk to the Zoo with me after her shift finished, which made my trip so much more memorable. I would highly recommend a stay here!

I wished I could have stayed longer!

We arrived way earlier than check-in time hoping we could possibly store our luggage somewhere already. But instead we already got our rooms early and were able to settle in. After a long ride on a night bus this was such a blessing. The location is great, just a few minutes away from the Victoria Mall and the artist markets and across from the Botanic Gardens.

There is really not anything I didn’t like. Just be aware that there is not a standardized breakfast buffet, but that you can order from a menu with your choice of eggs and juice. This needs to be ordered an hour beforehand or the night beforehand. So it gets a little complicated when you want to do a bulk order for a whole group because of all the choices 😉

The breakfast was huge and very satisfying. I had the English full breakfast which was included in my room rate and it was way more food than I could finish although I gave it a good try. Fruit, tea or coffee, plain omelette, toast jam and butter bacon sausage and avocado and tomato. Very good. Location was perfect for me as I went to UWEC which is the nearby animal park. Which I also highly recommend.

Very good location near the airport and at a walking distance from a local shopping mall, yet it was fairly quiet at night. Guesthouse had a charming garden setting and nice ethnic architecture. Friendly and helpful service. The Botanical Garden on the shore of Lake Victoria on the other side of the street was splendid. We got extra hours in one small room because we arrived late/early in the morning at about 4.30.

Friendly and helpful staff, complimentary airport pick-up, quiet but convenient location within walking distance to most places in Entebbe, comfortable bed and well-equipped bathroom.

The wi-fi was very poor when I was there and I was obliged to drink a lot of coffee at nearby Cafe Javas to use their free and excellent wifi. Sadly this probably means that I will not go back to Precious Guesthouse.

This was an ideal stay! The staff happily greeted me, even though I arrived after 11pm. The room was spacious, there was a large closet, a comfortable bed with mosquito netting, and a desk. The shower was hot and strong. Breakfast, which was included in my room, was great! There were many options to choose from. The coffee was the best I had in Uganda! I also had dinner in the restaurant one night and it was delicious! (And the drinks were strong!) There was an error with my bill, which I didn't realise, and one of the employees came to my room to return the money I overpaid. I really appreciated the honesty! I also got a free transfer to the airport on my last day. The location is great for the botanical gardens, and a supermarket (Carrefour). I would definitely stay here again if I were ever in Entebbe.

Honestly, nothing! I usually don't say that as there is always room for improvement, but I had an excellent stay and can not think of anything that I would improve on!
