Breakfast and location good.

Was awoken at seven o’clock by work going on opposite the hotel. Parking always a problem in Woodstock. Uncomfortable bed.

Property in the center ..

They adverise a restaurant but did not tell us we needed to book. the tables were wipes on top but were very dirty if you touch them anywhere else which put us off our breakfast. The room EDWARD had two very dirty marks on the carpet and the light fitting was very dirty. The first day they took away our dirty cups but didn't bother to replace them. Very disappoining..

Beautifully styled rooms with the best toiletries. Always very warm but with a Dyson fan in most (all?) rooms it’s grand.

Check in always seems a bit of a faff. This time the key for my room was missing so happily waited in the bar but even once it was found no one came to find me. Nothing major just seems a disconnect between the pub and hotel.

check-in, the pub was cosy and the whole feel of the place was welcoming. It was also very well situated close to Blenheim Palace which was around the corner or you could enter via the pedestrian gate at the end of the road. The breakfast was very comprehensive also.

The room we had (George I think) was on the main road and the main road outside seemed to be rather busy. it was hot but we couldn't open the windows (nicely double-glazed and having an extra window for sound proofing) so we had to resort to the fan which was provided so at least the owners had made some efforts.

On road and the pub played very loud music very late. Staff not organised & had a terrible sleep!
