The room was very comfortable and well appointed, with individual touches to the decor and fittings. The restaurant is very good and seems to have a name for fine dining with local people. Our host was very charming and helpful and the location was perfect for exploring historic Lincoln.

Breakfast choices could be a bit more extensive with a veggie/vegan full English option perhaps? For non-meat eaters like us there were really just a number of different egg based choices, with little or no garnish.

Had to use a pay and display car park which was quite expensive.

The room had a strong smell of drains . Carpet in rm stained, marks on the walls , no water bottles in rm , cobwebs round the rm . When we arrived, it seemed to be an inconvenience to the person who was there . No introduction was given by the person . We were taken to our rm and left with a grubby looking box that had cake in . It wasn't eaten . Breakfast was fair . No juices or fruit or cereal out ( cold buffet) . Had to ask for orange juice and coffee very poor service .

Location was good, very close to the cathedral and shops as well as pubs and bars. Room was lovely and the staff were very thoughtful and pleasant. A lovely stay, highly recommend!

The room was clean and had all the necessary facilities to enable me to have a gorgeous night in. My solo trip changed at the last minute and the hotel was very accommodating for this. The bathroom was very spacious and clean. The TV had all the best streaming apps.

The room was cold on arrival and took some time to heat up. Once we worked out how to heat the room up everything was great. I didn't check the restaurant open times so I wasn't able to experience the menu unfortunately. (But that was my own fault)

Room was pleasant, clean and warm.

Restaurant was closed on Sunday evening - acceptable, but no breakfast available on a Monday morning - unacceptable. I was told I could go for a short walk in the rain to one of two nearby cafes or a nearby hotel (where perhaps I should have stayed. Also access to my room door was via an uninviting side passage and two apparently unlockable doors.

we weren’t aware that the restaurant wouldn’t be open and was hoping to eat there - it looked very nice. . Very disappointed no breakfast available. we were told we could go to the hotel down the road and pay for it. We called in there the night before they said it was free if staying at the Bronze Pig so seemed we were mis-informed. unfortunately we overslept and missed it as finished at 9.00. Didn’t want to walk down in the pouring rain either. Slept badly due to a leaking gutter pouring down on a plastic roof right below the window. No coffee or teas, just decaf. No treats as in the other reviews.

A lovely welcome with some delicious treats. Excellent location, minutes away from the Castle and Cathedral with plenty of parking nearby. Superb stay. Thank you :)
