Staff were friendly & coffee by warung bamboo was good in the morning.

Unfortunately there was more to not like than like about this property. It’s in need of an upgrade & a good clean. We had daily issues with the wifi & aircons be it that the staff rectified shortly after being advised. Pool had broken tiles everywhere with bricks placed on the pool floor to hide the broken floor tiles. Rooms themselves just didn’t appear clean, dirty walls & mouldy mirrors. For us it personally wasn’t worth the money & checked out a night earlier with most of our days spent away from property.

So close to the beach. Nice amenities for the brach. The food at the restaurant were surprisingly good, specifically the french fries and the burgers. Overall, the stay was pleasant.

I was placed on the first floor, even though I had called the hotel a day prior to arrival to tell them specifically my preference. It was disappointing, because the first floor didn't provide me with a private area to hang my clothes. Lastly, be prepared you won't be able to catch a taxi or an Uber at night time. Don't know why, but I wasn't able to get a ride at 6:45pm local time.

The location itself was good, near a few restaurants in walking distance. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The pool attendant Wynan was absolutely amazing. He always had a smile, helpful offering to set us up seats with towels as we headed to lunch so ready when came back and he even took kids to beach to fly a couple of kites he had. He is an asset to the hotel. Pool a good size for amount of people around. There is a pool on the roof that you wouldn't even know I'd there but a wee gem

The noise. We had a ground floor room near the pool, boy was it noisy. People were constantly walking past at night and we couldn't get the kids to sleep. There are concrete tiles over a drain that go the length of hotel and the path everyone walks on so rattle all night til at least 11, the hallway has zero sound proofing so you hear everything, yelling, just a normal conversation. You can't swim in the beach as it's so full of rubbish, it really is gross. The beach itself infront of hotel is kept maintained but you can't go near water to swim. Real shame it's not looked after. We went snorkling and you were swimming amongst rubbish was awful. The hotel advertises a kids club. This is absolutely false advertising. It's a play room with toys for under three years old to play, was pretty messy and not what a real kids club is, to me it's a place you can put your kids for entertainment, activities etc and we booked this hotel thinking it was that. There hotel description should be altered so others are mislead like us.

The kids club is old. The toys is broken and seem like they didn’t tidying and take cares. I ate danish bread in warong bamboo. the bread tasted like leftover bread. i bet the kept and served to the buffet. i throw up my food after that because i felt sick. The manager said it was new and showed me the receipt. but i’m not first time eat bread, plus i am baker. he even didn’t say sorry. very bad moment. no cappuccinos and latte for breakfast here. u need to pay extra. not many choices of foods here i leaved the hotel for another day. my mistake to avoid the hotel rate before booked.

Good price with all meals included. Decent food at the beachfront restaurant. Live music on Sundays. Staff is welcoming, friendly, and helpful.

Overall, the hotel structure/facilities seem to be affected by Covid time. e.g infinity pool deactivated as well as other restaurant not in operation.

The staff and the location

If ever, the breakfast could have more variety. Could have more local breakfast meals or vegan.

Hotel was very good. The beach is just near by, only a minute walking from hotel. breakfast is open buffet and very delicious. Staff was very friendly. Jihan from front office helped us a lot. The rooms are clean and air conditioner is working properly. We will come again for sure.

the Beach in front of the hotel is not really for swimming, the beach itself is lovely with sunbeds and umbrellas, the water is quite dirty though. we went to other beaches for swimming. the walls in the hotel are quite thin - you can hear every sound from everywhere.

Tijili is well located, lovely swimming pools and good sized rooms.

Unfortunately, they play piped music throughout the hotel from 8am to very late at night. The music is loud in the bedrooms making it hard to take afternoon naps and forcing one to use earplugs or to turn the TV up really loud. We had to call reception on numerous occasions to ask for the music to be turned down. We were also not told about current renovations affecting some facilities eg Spa and construction noise throughout the day.

Nice for a short period. Kind pool guy, breakfast was delicious- many options. Kitchen staff was also nice. Garden and pool area are nice and peaceful.

The feeling of a big complex. We have asked if we can do late check out (we needed the room for two more hours) but it was too many complications so we just decided to wait for a taxi near the pool. 3h later when we were just leaving our room it was 10h (or 11h? - well the time for a check out) and they called us in the room since we didn’t return keys yet, if we wanna do a late check out. We were a bit confused, since they acted weird when I asked for this option. Also in the hotel are mainly tourists from China - so many things are made for them. We had a room in the ground level near the pool. Nice and close, but many people passing your window and the floor was making terrible sounds when people are steeping on. If you don’t use curtains, prepare for looks from people who don’t respect privacy.

we had rooms on the ground floor, from the early hours of the morning the service was noisy cleaning around the pool and garden. the prices at the beachbar are way too high.

the room was clean and the beds comfortable and the air cooler worked extremely well in the humid weather, The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Special mention to Novi in the Bamboo Warung who made dining there a pleasure. Dining there overlooking the ocean was a relaxing experience. The reception staff catered to our every question with grace and speed. A big thank you to them all.

There are no negatives.

The roof top pool and gym were mercifully empty so we had a great workout and was able to sunbathe topless.

The tiles in the pools are broken in places This is bound to cause an injury. The noise from other guests leaving their rooms early in the morning was a nuisance. The breakfast was awful, the coffee was undrinkable, consequently we only ate there once. The pasta ordered from the room service was revolting. The sheets had holes in and should have been repaired or replaced.

Quite loud, rooms are not private. No fan in bathroom. Got sick from the bamboo warung. We also were charged to bring drinks in, without being informed prior. This hasn't happened anywhere else in Bali. Plus the drink prices are the most expensive we have seen. We don't often bring drinks in, but this was just an accident. They did not inform us of the charge until we noticed it on the bill. 50,000 IDR per drink brought in.
