The hosts, Michael and Trish were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble to make your stay comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. The location couldn’t be better. We would most definitely go back to The Braemar. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Lovely hotel, very nicely decorated, comfortable and excellent hosts made for a really enjoyable stay. The fact there is a fridge in the rooms is a real bonus. Great breakfast for those who want it, and Mike and Trish were so friendly and sat and had a chat with us each morning. They certainly know how to treat their guests very well!

Friendly hosts who gave a lovely welcome. Perfect location, near attractions, and places to eat and drink. We took up our hosts' recommended places to visit while there and enjoyed them also. Room was lovely, with such a comfortable bed and many little nice touches.

Fab find. Lovely place to stay in a very good location. Restaurants nearby. Close to train station and buses. Very welcoming some nice little touches you don't see often. Vanity kit and bag with toiletries. Very private. Very quiet.

The Braemar is situated in the right place for train station and the shops. I found staying at the Braemar really peaceful which was what I was looking for. Michael was brilliant and nothing was a problem for him if I needed anything. I have already recommended the braemar to my family and friends.

I visit Southport once or twice a year to visit family and friends and this was my second stay at the Braemar. The welcome is warm and Michael took my case up (I don't pack light!). My single room was clean, recently refurbed had everything needed and extra teabags etc available on request.
Love the location, a couple of minutes' walk to the prom, Marine Lake and the pier in one direction and to lovely Lord Street in the other.
Although the Braemar no longer offer breakfast there are plenty of options very close by. I would stay at the Braemar again.

Hosts very welcoming. Close to town centre and seafront attractions. Clean comfortable room with lovely addition of welcome pack. Cosy guest lounge with a well stocked honesty bar. Would be happy to stay here again.
