Nothing. It has been the absolute best place I have stayed @ on my travels through Italia. Fantastic interior architecture; massive swimming pool & incredible food & Italian hospitality you could ever wish for. Pefecto

Breakfast was nice food but the service was a bit uncoordinated as they would serve your food without cutlery. But they did serve a lot of food, even more than ordered, which was nice. The rooms were very great and we got an upgrade too.

The location was not great as you could hear the highway and there was not a lot to enjoy in Messina, in our opinion. So we went the way to Taomina every day during the stay which was only a 30 min drive each way.

Location was outside Messina (approx. 9 Km). Great view of Strait of Messina and Reggio Calabria. Staff were friendly and very helpful.

There was no buffet breakfast although the breakfast that was provided was adequate, but limited. The location of the hotel (villa) was not great and a little noisy being so close to the main highway. Did not like the fact that the bathroom was actually inside the bedroom only separated by glass partitioning.

Everything was perfect!!! The hotel, the environment, the room, the staff- grazie mille à CARMELLO!!! an exquisite employe, that any hotel would be pround to have- the owners, the gardens, the breakfast. The details- we had dinner and breakfast in the gardens, over looking the sea- at a distance- but we were attended like royalty. Excellent.

Very helpful staff. Very good food. And a nice garden to relax.

What has made this hotel experience impeccable was the the staff each one was very courteous and professional from the doorman who came out in the pouring rain with an umbrella to help with the bags, to the breakfast waiter who took time to show us around the beautiful grounds and to Carla the receptionist who was very helpful in showing us to our room. Such a pleasure to meet such a dedicated team. The hotel view was absolutely superb. The ground were very well maintained. The size of the rooms were very large. Our room was larger than expected and an unique design.It was spotlessly clean.We would recommend this hotel as the building and views beautiful.

The facilities in the room were lacking the small touches that make a hotel room really comfortable were not there. Their was a kettle with cups but no tea or coffee available. No tissues in the room and the slippers given were of a very poor quality for standard of hotel. The extra payments for the spa area was ridiculous €80 for 2 for 70mins for just sauna Jacuzzi and relaxation shower. The breakfast was very limited and we had to pay extra if we wanted some cooked food. Very poor value for money.
