Very Good location - close to beach , local shop with everything you need for your holiday. Very close steps to historical city. Also very close to port for daily trips. Accomodation very clean, beautiful scent everywhere. Excellent breakfast and very kind and helpful owner Carmelino and staff.

Very good location, 2 minutes walk from a small remote beach. The hosts were extremely welcoming and made us feel like home. As for the breakfast, it was absolutely wonderful. Our room also had a big balcony, overlooking the city center. There is a safe parking space on the street in front of the building. We will definitely come back.

The walls were a little bit thin and you can hear what other people are talking in the room next to you.

Free parking at the door, easy flat walk to beach, clean and very modern (new), excellent breakfast (best we've had on our travels), nice friendly staff, we tried to stay another night, but they were full. Good value for money. This B & B is on beach level, you have to walk up to the Historical Centre and all the good restaurants. It's beautiful up there, no parking and very expensive in comparison.

super clean, hospitality is on a high level, breakfast is great, lots of choice. really kind owners, location is great, close to the beach and via stairs is the historical Centre easy to reach.

This really was an extraordinary find, a real treat in our extensive travels. The staff were so helpful, to the extent of giving us a lift up the station when we left. The room was perfect, clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious and fresh. I can't recommend Porta Romana enough.

It was all fantastic. To note it is at the sea level so will involve trips up and down stairs into the town. There are also tuks tuks.

Beautiful spotless clean and modern place. Carmelo and Christina were so very helpful. The room was a very good size. Breakfast was excellent. Once l asked for strawberry jam and they didn't have. Next day they gave me a jar of strawberry jam 😁. Parking was just outside the place in the street. The hotel is small and very close to the sea and port. The centre is 10 mins away either on foot or go by car. I would definitely love to go again. Thank you so much Carmelo and Christina for everything especially the candle😊

Well it's rather a suggestion, it would have been nice if there was a kettle in the room to make some tea or coffee.

The breakfast was fantastic! The room was spotless with all brand new amenities. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating.

Our stay at Residenza Porta Romana was exceptional. The host Carmelo and his team were always thoughtful. Allowing a late check out and providing a free transfer.

it is an amazing property, everything perfect! The property is more beautiful in person than in the photos. The room is perfect with a good bed and a good restroom. impeccable cleaning. the breakfast is really good.

Very good breakfast, quite location , accessible by car , no issue with parking on the street, city center close by (by walk) . Nice personal , overall very good experience.

City center by walk, but with steep stairs (shortest way) - no problem for us, but I would not recommend it to old or disabled people.

Breakfast was great which was outside which was nice especially given times we are in. Very friendly and helpful staff, definitely someone you want to give your business to. The location for us was amazing, a bit away (quick walk) from the touristy town area above and a quiet location. Our room had a balcony that gave a spectacular view of the old city above. Very quick walk to many beaches.

Was a little pricey.

We were the only guests there. The manager was super helpful and forthcoming, in particular letting us use the room far beyond what we paid for (including early check-in and very late check out). Breakfast was wonderful and the whole property is extremely clean and well run.
