The hosts are extremely gentle and very generous, discreet, but helpful whenever we needed, they offered us local treats, wine, oil and basic things we needed for cooking in the kitchen. The house is nice with a splendid garden with a yasmin tree, a fine swimming pool, two gorgeous palmtrees on which is hung a very cosy hammock. The living room is spacious and confortable with TV screen, wireless and even Netflix conection.

Still, the rooms are small, with an air of dusty furniture, despite some new decorations, and the walls are darker than in presentation; the matrimonial room had dull brown walls, not holiday yellow as in pictures and it gave me the feeling that I occupied an old home. The house is stuffed with personal objects, even if nice and dear for the owners, still strange for visitors trying to accomodate. An odd thing was the communication between the two bathrooms through an intended break on the upper wall for a proper ventilation; and it wouldn’t be a problem for a family with kids, but it could be embarassing for many adults as one can hear every sound from the other bathroom. Otherwise, cleaning was OK, the towels were new and as many as we needed.

Me and my family stayed at La Villetta for a full week. As a family of 5, I can happily say that It had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We arrived, and were greeted by the house owners Argyris and Meni whom were very friendly, and helpfull. Upon first glance the house was really clean and identical to what you see in the pictures, and a full week later I can attest to the fact that it had no faults and added a very enriched flare of relaxation and riveting coziness to our family’s vacation. Moreover, the location of the house is perfect as it is very central, and is about a 10 minute drive from most of the various sites you can explore, from restaurants and locations for snorkeling, to all of the enjoyments that give you the local flavor of this island. If we ever decide to come back to this island, we can safely assume that La Villetta will once again be our choice of residency.
