Room was clean and in a quiet location. the balcony was nice to sit on, and the courtyard was very attractive. The breakfast was exceptional- different every day, fresh and very tasty. I will definitely stay here again.

Excellent location in a quiet section of the old town. (fyi- you can not drive to the property entrance but can unload luggage about 100 meters away and then look for a parking spot). Your Google lady may try to lead you straight to the door but it is a very narrow alleyway with no parking. Beautifully remodeled set of 2 buildings with a nice plunge pool in the building with units 1-5. This is also where you have your breakfast. The courtyard surrounding the pool is peaceful with nice furniture. Pool towels were provided however these are not for use at the beach. Lovely breakfast served each morning with homemade touches and nice jams. A different menu each morning. It is served to you so if you would like any thing more, just ask. The property hostess, Irene , is very accommodating and takes a sincere interest in guests. If you wish to have your towels and linens changed or for more toiletries you must ask her as there is no schedule for doing so. The garbage is removed daily and a light mopping done.

Finding a free parking spot close by can be challenging. We came mid May and were able to find a spot in free public parking across from the Saturday Market lot but come high season I think it would be very difficult. This would be the issue for any rentals in Old Town I believe. The beds in unit 4, are very firm, actually, hard, and as other reviewers mentioned-very uncomfortable. They could be greatly improved by mattress toppers. If you have any back issues and are particular about mattress comfort keep reading reviews. Pillows were much too firm and heavy. Only one pillow per bed so if you use two, you must ask. If you are a bedtime reader, there is only one bedside table and lamp in unit 4. Lighting overall in this unit was lacking. There are no towel racks in the bathroom so you are expected to hang them outside in the common area. Toiletries are not automatically replenished so if you need more bath gel, etc. you must ask. For the price and with so many rentals available in the Old Town and more being reconstructed at an alarming rate, I wish we had kept searching and reading reviews however we booked on the recommendation of a friend.

Everything was really really nice. The property looks amazing and feels very personal and welcoming. Staff is very kind and hospitable. Appartment was clean and they come clean it daily. breakfast was really good with different dishes everyday. location is perfect in the cute old town of Rethymnon. I would definitely come back here and advise others to visit too!

Veranda Rossa Suites is beautiful place located in the heart of the old town of Rethymno. Guest rooms are placed in renovated historic buildings. You can enjoy the breakfast in the inner courtyard, by the pool. The owners are very kind people as well as all staff members. I highly recommend Veranda Rossa Suites, do not hesitate and book your stay and enjoy the holidays in Rethymno.

Lovely welcoming staff, very clean large rooms with character and extremely well located for restaurants, shops, harbour and the venetian fort! Also the breakfast every morning was spot on! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The apartment is situated in the old town, close to all touristic attractions. The room is spacious and well equiped.

Wi-fi did not work in the apartment no 6. There was a lot of noise coming from the apartments in the same building when they flushed the toilet.

Loved everything about these suites

Everything. Delicious location in the alleys of the old town. The hotel has a quiet courtyard with a little pool. Everything was well decorated and there was even a soothing background music to relax while refreshing in the pool. Very good breakfast, every day different, served in the courtyard. I loved our stay here.

The place itself was beautiful, you enter into the cutest little courtyard full of flowers and plants. The attention to detail was amazing. When we entered the room it’s was light modern and provided us with all the comforts of home. I really can’t fault the rooms at all they were simply stunning. Out whole experience was perfect, from the staff and breakfast to the location and atmosphere! Highly recommend anyone to stay here. We will for sure visit again ! Thank you so much ❤️

The only comment I will make here is our bed was a little hard for my back but this is a tiny detail and really didn’t effect our stay.
