My girlfriend and I loved to stay at the "Ai Gradini Affittacamere" for 5 days in July. The location is great, right in the centre of the small village of Castellammare del Golfo, 5 minutes walk from the beach and 5 mins from the harbour. The room was spacious and recently renowed and equipped with air conditioning, a mini fridge, a hairdryer, and a small safe. The breakfast is served on the roof terrace with an incredible view on the seaside. But the thing we liked most was the friendliness of the owner Giuseppe and the staff. We definitely recommend a stay at Ai Gradini Affittacamere.

It’s a very nice location, with a stunning view on the Chiesa Madre and the Gulf. Staff is incredibly welcoming and nice. Breakfast is very tasty and consumed in front of a masterpiece of a view!

The host was very friendly and the location was great! If you arrive early you can find a place to park your car for free. The room is confortable and has a small balcony with space to dry your towels and swimsuits. The breakfast on the rooftop was lovely, with a nice view.

The wifi is not great, at least in our room. The breakfast is too early and only available for 1h, between 8am and 9am.

Extremely clean room with a balcony and a marvelous view from breakfast area to piazza. Breakfast included different fruits and coffees, also sandwiches, yoghurts and sweets. The piazza and church in front of the building are very pretty. We sat in the piazza watching the life of people living there. Everything in Castellammare del Golfo are near and it was wonderful to walk around in the evenings.

The location was amazing and the staff super kind and attentive. Giuseppe is the perfect host. The breakfast terrace is beautiful with superb views of Castellamare. The breakfast had a lot of options and it was an interactive gathering with Giuseppe and the other guests.

A very nice stay (2 nights) in Castellmare del golfo. Definitely our favourite place from the trip! The room with balcony was excellent and the breakfast on the terrace was a great way to start the day.

The room was spacious and very clean, the staff was super friendly and welcoming, the location is very close to parking, ocean view, and restaurants/shops. The break yin the morning was delicious and served on their rooftop terrace. Highly recommend this place.

Nice host! He found for us extra water boiler for a baby. Place is great, in the center but quiet at night. And great breakfast: youghurt, sandwiches, grat coffe, fruits.

Guiseppe went out of his way to ensure our stay was perfect, thank you so much! Location on the church square was perfect. breakfast that was offered was the best on our trip. Rooms super comfortable and clean. highly recommend staying here.

Giuseppe is an incredible host, caring and funny, it was a real pleasure to meet him! The location is right in the heart of town, with the beautiful church just next door, the streets with lots of restaurants just 2 minutes walking distance and to go down to the port/marina area there are some stairs so in 5 minutes tops you're there. The rooms are very clean and spacious, with everything you need, even a hair dryer and diffuser! I was impressed. The bathroom is excellent, too. The thing that made this stay exceptional was the breakfast, though: an incredible spread of cakes, pastries, buns, yogurt, fresh fruit, cereals, granola, juices, coffee/cappuccino/tea made on the spot, and a good variety, including local delicacies such as 'pane e panelle', 'cannoli', and more. We didn't expect it to be so good, honestly. Plus the view, which is gorgeous! Also, totally recommended to go to Castellammare and use it as a base to visit the nearby area. Don't miss out on Riserva Naturale dello Zingaro, Guidaloca (the most beautiful beach in my opinion), Erice, and Macari. The area is really beautiful and the water is so beautiful everywhere.

The only thing that was a little annoying was the church bell ringing very often in the morning, not ideal when one wants to sleep in. That comes with the location, obviously, and not at all the fault of the property. You get used to it after a couple of days. Also, being a family-led business, breakfast is only served between 8.00 and 9.00, which is a little short but considering the quality, it was worth waking up for.

Perfect !!! Loved everything

Good location in a piazza in front of the main church. View of the sea from the rooftop balcony which is where breakfast was serve each day - the best buffet breakfast we at in our 4 weeks in Sicily. Giuseppe and his wife were very friendly and helpful hosts, always on had if we needed anything. The room was spotless and comfortable with an excellent bathroom and balcony overlooking the piazza.

There was nothing to dislike

Super kind host, the hotel is super clear and very close to the city centre

All of it - the location was perfect, handy balcony for drying up the swimsuits, very good options for breakfast
