Breakfast was fantastic, I recommend booking it at the same time as your room. The gym equipment was also fantastic, as were the changerooms. The lobby area and rooms were lovely.

The wifi was terrible. The availability of wine in the lobby bar scarce as was the limited food offering in the lobby. It was a little difficult to communicate to staff in English, but we made the best of it. Challenging was that you could see one of the staff at work, sweating, definitely not well.

Traveling for work and needing a great place to stay which was relaxing and super friendly with care. As so typical with the Shangri La group they exceed in support. The further away from home I will always try to stay at a Shangri La Hotel

I was travelling alone with my four year old son. We chose the hotel because it had a pool and good wifi. Unfortunately, the hotel staff told me that my four year old wasn’t allowed in the female changing rooms and i was told he had to change on his own in the male changing rooms. Unrelated, we got a bowl of fruit. With it was a note in handwritten Chinese to my son saying that they hoped he was enjoying his stay. Very kind, but he is four and can’t read Chinese and, though he is male, doesn’t pay the hotel fees. I got several phone calls from the hotel. My chinese is ok, but i didn’t understand what they said, so I asked them to email me. I emailed them back saying no problem if no push chair to hire, but could they confirm my booking was all ok. No reply. So I called them up and they confirmed all ok, but was worried for a while.

The hotel chinese restaurant serves some of the best Chinese cuisine. Had a really excellent dinner.
