The room was nice and spacious, the location perfect near the central shopping street. We also liked the breakfast with a choice of Chinese or Western food.

The room was small but comfortable. The location was great and definitely a great value for the money. The staff was exceptional and my thanks go out to them for their patience and their help!

The breakfast could have been better but due to the Covid situation only a limited selection of breakfast items were available and these had to be delivered to the room.

The room was was dirty with lots of damage - hair on the bathroom floor (still there after it had been cleaned mid-stay), dirty bedroom floors, damage to the wardrobe doors, damage to the main door (as if the lock had been previously forced open)… Also, the lift is possibly the slowest hotel lift I’ve been in, and has no a/c and also dirty walls.

The stuff was nice, even if nobody was speaking English which is actually unacceptable since they are welcoming foreign people. Best thing is their super convenient location

The room wasn’t clean: I found some ladies hair on the little couch and the pillow were dirty. Couldn’t seat on the couch. 5 nights stay, never changed the sheet of our bed. The stairs in the front side weren’t working: we had to walk upstairs or going behind the entrance for use the elevator. No shower gel, no shampoo, no lotion: first hotel in my life which doesn’t provide any of those. Room wasn’t cleaned: they just make the bed and replace towel but no mop or vacuum. Honestly I won’t come back again

Great hotel. Location was perfect to get to all sightseeing places. Would like to thank the staff. They spoke little English but went the extra mile to help me. They offered to change my room due to previous room being close to the escalator which was noisy at night. This was a very easy process and they help me moved me luggage. Thank you so much. Would definitely stay again

Comfortable bed and pillows, good shower, good air conditioning. The room was small and simple but cost effective and well-located! Laundry facilities were a great touch.

Breakfast left a gross smell in the whole lobby and was simple with mostly Chinese options. We only went once out of three days then ate elsewhere. The elevator was pretty slow, which we had also read in the reviews. There is a robot that takes the elevator to deliver things to people (we never found out what), and this slows down the elevator too.

Great location. Close to everything, including a subway station. Very friendly staff. We booked a room with window and realized it is facing back ally, which is noisy and greasy. Front desk changed room for us quickly and happily. Tasty breakfast is a pleasant surprise.

Elevator very very slow and small. This hotel is located in a part of residential building. Elevator is not shared but there's only one for hotel guests. Smell of smoke throughout hallway and sometimes inside the room.

Perfect position, directly on the main street, near to subway and near to the ferry for Xiamen island. New room with enough space (especially the bathroom). Good level of cleaning. Staff at desk very kind even if no english speaking (only one person can speak english).

Entrance of hotel and building not nice, with old and not renovate external side. Only one available elevator for the guests with long time for waiting always (also 20 minutes). Breakfast very poor, with very low choise and very low quality. Breakfast staff not professional and not kind (it was not possible to start the brakfast 10 min before the official start to catch the driver for one day trip and it was not possible to choose one favourite table because it was still not cleaned). Toilet at reception not clean and not usable.

Staff amazingly friendly. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Location is perfect. Close to Zhongshan pedestrian road. Would stay again.

Location is amazing, right by the Pedestrian street, lots of shops, mall, restaurants near. Short drive to port and train station. Beds are comfy, shower is nice too. Breakfast was nice, good selection of food (mostly chinese food), very helpful staff. Checkin/checkout easy.

Room was a bit smaller than the photos showed. Staff barely spoke any English besides 1 of them, who was very helpful. Bathroom could use a bit more of a deep cleaning. Elevator is small, old and slow, but that is mostly due to the building being old and needing some maintenance. AC broke on the third night, and it got too hot in the room. For a Ibis, didn't feel so much up to the standard, but nice stay for value anyway.

The service was so outstanding, we booked again!The staff at the front counter was very helpful during our stay and helped us solve a lot needs as we didn’t speak much Chinese. Great staff and great value!

Absolutely perfect location in Zhongshan Rd. Good facilities, clean and comfortable rooms. A free laundry room, with free laundry detergent. In Xiamen’s 90 def heat and 80% humidity, laundry is a very very thoughtful provision.

They are good and young and polite and helpful but I wish the staff would speak a bit if English. I understand they don’t get a lot of foreign tourists but they could. And the cleaning lady was very sweet.

its in the heart of the city . the air conditioning in our room broke , but the staff made a quick response even late at night they quickly tranfer us to a nicer room . highly recomended. sure to be back here .

The location is very convenient, right in the zhongshan pedestrian street, even though we got lost for the first day because the taxi driver don’t want to take us to the back door of the hotel. There’s a direct elevator from the back door to the lobby at 2nd floor and the room at 3-6 floor. So, if you have the same case like us, the driver drop u at the corner of zhongshan road pedestrian street, not at the back gate of the hotel, just follow the map and the address according to booking.com and not google map, because google map got wrong pin point for the place and others place not exactly the same as what in the map that google have. The hotel is across the haidilao hotpot, mcd, miniso if you walk from zhongshan road pedestrian street. 1 or 2 building besides the hotel there are lots of seafood stall in one foodcourt area. There are carrefour (open until 10ish pm) at walking distance in the mall that at the right, across the back door of the hotel, if you go down to the 1st floor from the one and only elevator (fortunately we do not have any trouble with the elevator, the waiting is not that long like other travelers). We take the family room A and its a big room for 3 adults. And a plus value for the sandal of the hotel, it’s very good and not like other hotel. I will recommend this hotel to friends.

The board name of the hotel IBIS Style so small and we can missed it, if we go from the zhongshan road pedestrian street. Even though the hotel is just right at the zhongshan pedestrian street, but because its located on the 2nd floor of the building so we will not noticed it at first, and finally only 1 security that knows from 4 securities we ask about the location of the hotel.

Staff were polite and helpful. There is tea/ coffee provided at the foyer sitting area. Location was great for shopping street nearby with places to eat. Quite near to Metro station where we took train to main station to get fast train out of city. Staff kindly directed us on how to get to places.

Check in took longer than expected as the staff could not locate our booking. Staff, except a few,could not speak English well . This made communication a bit difficult.
