First off, the place looked exactly like the photos so that was great especially since often times the photos are nicer than what you actually get. But what made our stay special was the staff and the service. They were the kindest people, and I'm not talking kind just because they're in the service industry but you can really feel they genuinely were kind people and very willing to help and genuinely cared about how your stay was going. In our case, we got stranded in Jagna because the boat trip was cancelled and we lost some days due to this. We had also reserved at the other location but we didn't have as much time anymore so we asked the resort if we could just check in later than the date, which they accommodated but they went above and beyond and offered us the option to extend our stay (free of charge) to make up for the days we lost due to the tropical cyclone. In the end we didn't extend our stay (because we had a return flight already booked), but we didn't go to the other location (mountain) in our last day and they let us stay one day longer here.
The staff also communicates really well and is very responsive. They also helped us rent a scooter and of course offered suggestions on what we can visit on the island.
The food at the resort was also really good and had decent portions.
Honestly I have no complaints. The only thing I wish was different was more time here.
Highly recommend and would definitely come back again.
To the staff, thank you for making our stay such a wonderful experience. You were all so thoughtful and kind.
It would be great to have more ventilation in the bathroom as it traps humidity but we just left the door open and also the door to the room itself and it wasn't that bad.

In my opinion, the property offers the best view in the island. Our local guide, Kuya Lehman told us we don't even have to go to Tongatok Cliff View Point and I agree - the sunsets were spectacular from our room alone. Tita Elsa makes the best Filipino breakfast and the property also offers healthy options - acai bowl, green juice (something even five star properties in Boracay or BGC hotels don't offer) which is a must for me. I think the most important thing to highlight is that the staff (just like the rest of the lovely, welcoming townspeople of Camiguin) showcases the best of Filipino hospitality. My sister and I never felt unsafe nor did it feel like we would be charged an arm and a leg just for breathing in the place (if you're a local tourist you know this normally happens in high-end hotels and resorts in the country) so it was such a nice change to see such earnest, heartfelt hospitality. Mark made sure to clean our room everyday, Joy and Chen Chen were always there to support, share a smile and chat and Tita Elsa is like a mom who'll make sure to take care of you. Most importantly, they were able to arrange a car rental for us during the busiest season in the country - without their help we wouldn't have been able to explore and enjoy the island as we are more DIY travellers.
Pro tip: The area also has a cafe which Kuya Lehman (such a great guide as well) recommended. The name is Taste and See and they offer coffee beans for those of the "iykyk" coffee crowd. There we met the loveliest hostess, Tita Edith, who offered us "binignit" even if we were local intruders. We were so shy to have crashed her dinner party that we didn't get to thank her for her sweetness and warm hospitality.
There is no phone signal in the room which makes for a great excuse to go incommunicado with your boss (or exboyfriend - if you're on that kind of trip). If you really really need to work or keep yourself busy (but good luck because once you see the sunset -you'll just forget anything else) the wifi is strong and fast. Don't expect to have the same choice of food in the island if you're used to the convenience of the capital cities/Boracay/main tourist areas. This is a chill, laid back place (and I'd rather it remain as such) but if you're really craving for that iced matcha latte, the Bininsuran branch makes a better one than Starbucks (you'll thank me for the tip). Besides, the island is dotted with amazing cafes and restaurants (Hayahay, Beehive, Alex). I also don't like sharing too much about my trip because I'm afraid the place will end up being like Boracay/Siargao/Palawan. I wish it could remain my secret.

Aardigste staff ooit, prachtige locatie. Eigen zwembad.

Superb staff...Very friendly and attentive... Would recommend this place for any young couples....Not ideally suited to the elderly due to the steep hills and steps... But hey this is a serious place to unwind!!! Thanks to all the team there that really treated us like second family...
Love it all!!!

The view from the room is spectacular and the staff were so friendly and helpful specially Ate Elsa and the 2 Kuyas - I ordered late night snacks and beers but the Cook is already out but they still managed to prepare me one.
The wooden pool sliding door is very stiff needs some attention.

It’s a really nice place! Great views. The bed is comfortable, clean bathroom, the pool is a nice touch, staff are amazing!
The insects but that’s out of their control. The road to it is a bit steep to go with a car.

Hardworking staff, although we had to ask for towel for the 3rd person.
I’ve booked 3 people with breakfast. The property charged me breakfast for the 3rd person upon checkout as apparently complimentary breakfast are for 2 people only. Booking .com customer service is still awaiting reply from the property as to why they have charged me breakfast for the 3rd person. It’s been 3 wks and no reply from the property. No card payment facility. No reception staff at the property.

We stayed for 5 nights and it was so relaxing. Food was lovely.
Could do with a mosquito net in the room. But never asked if they were available, there was a hook for one.

The most beautiful hotel we stayed in in the Phillipines. Beautiful room with amazing view. Staff is very kind and always willing to help. Room is spacious and modern. Make sure you experience a sunset here :) we were sad we couldn’t stay a couple of more nights. Location is good for quite some of the island highlights

Rooms have their own mini pool which are perfect for taking those instagram photos. Resort is perfect for couples.
It was difficult to contact call the resort because there is no cellular signal within the resort. The road to the resort is quite steep so make sure to rent a vehicle that can handle the those roads.
