Breakfast was fantastic / other mraks were as well . Staff we exceptionally friendly and helpful and tried their best to make our stay a memorable one 🩵 Location was great as it was central . We had a car so we drove everywhere very easily

The only thing that could be better is a change in menu items as they were the same everyday and we expected more fish on the menu 🤣

Nice little hotel / pub / restaurant. Food was good.

Party noise to well past 1am. Staff didn't cope well with an extra guest for dinner while servicing a party of about 10 and another small group.

Great location halfway across Islay. Easy drive to Bruichladdich and Bowmore. The very picturesque distilleries down south of Laphroiag, Lagavulin and Ardbeg are a short drive. The room was very clean and well appointed. The restaurant is simply SUPERB, and they made us feel very special on our 20th wedding anniversary dinner!

De ligging van het hotel is wel goed, het ligt ongeveer in het midden van islay zodat je elke kant gemakkelijk kan bereiken en niet te lang moet rijden. Mooie nette kamers en onze hond was zeer welkom, zelfs tijdens het eten!

The room was spotlessly clean, the food was lovely and the staff were all friendly, helpful and professional. They were also extremely accommodating when we had to leave earlier than planned.

Beautiful hotel , staff could not be more friendly and helpful. Evening meal superb, as was breakfast.would highly recommend this hotel. Dog friendly and great walk from the doorstep. Ideal location being central on the island. Have been back for lunch and was just as good !

Comfortable and pretty room, excellent service (particularly one of the ladies in the restaurant, who was charming and funny), gorgeous views and a very nice walk into the woods next to the hotel. We really enjoyed the food! Great location to visit destilleries, the beaches etc from.

The staff were delightful. The furnishings and decor lovely. The rooms were very comfortable.

A bit noisy on the Saturday night as visitors sat outside at benches/ tables on the street side just below the bedroom windows.

Breakfast was a good range of food in a very nice dining room. Parking was sufficient and safe while the staff was top notch, from checking in to checking out. The room was a bit outdated but otherwise adequate for a nice stay on Islay. The hotel has a bar as well as a restaurant. It's centrally located so everything is within 20-30 minutes on the island, which is a huge plus for travelers with limited time (like ourselves).

Small bathroom sink, flies in the room, pothole in the middle of the entrance to the car park behind the hotel.

The Bridgend Hotel is a real gem of a place to stay. Staff are excellent and super friendly. We had dinner at the restaurant which was very very good. And breakfast equally fabulous.

A couple more beer choices would be nice.

Ian the manager was amazing. He was helpful and full of knowledge and recommendations for fun things to do. The Scottish Breakfast was very filling and the breakfast options in general were great. We loved the bowling and secret garden outdoor activities.
