The space was absolutely incredible. We had plenty of room, and the space was really well decorated. The large windows over looking the street were so fun. And the location was perfect! We were right in the hustle and bustle. We were able to do a good walk up to the university too.

The hand soap and the shower gel were so watered down. It felt like there was barely any soap in there. Also the WiFi was only ok. We were able to connect, but we couldn't load a good number of websites or some of our favorite apps. The safe was locked when we got there, so we were unable to use it.

Gran ubicación exactamente junto al arco de Almedina, parte de la muralla de la ciudad medieval, en medio del barrio central universitario a unos minutos de la Universidad de Coimbra y biblioteca Joanina. La remodelación es excelente, con gran decoración moderna minimalista y con buen espacio para 2 personas. Amabilidad y rápida respuesta de Gonçalo.

Un poco complicado encontrar el parking y cargar equipaje hasta el depto. No hay acceso con vehículo.

Nous avons tout aimé ! L'espace, le haut plafond, la déco, le design, le confort, l'emplacement idéal dans le Vieux Coimbra, la machine à café (avec dosettes de bienvenue), literie impeccable, chauffage OK, rideaux occultants hyper efficaces.. c est à dire qu'au premier étage de cet immeuble avec grandes fenêtres donnant sur la rue passante et lampadaires éclairés la nuit juste au niveau des portes fenêtres, nous avions eu peur d'être dérangées par le bruit et la lumière la nuit mais pas du tout ! Encore une fois isolation irréprochable. Super communication avec Goncalo qui a été arrangeant et adorable. Il a répondu à chaque demande très rapidement. Il manque juste quelques ustensiles de cuisine dans la kitchenette, un grille pain et des plaques de cuisson. Nous avons eu du mal à quitter ce logement, nous nous y sommes senties vraiment très bien !

Comme écrit précédemment le seul (petit) bémol c'est le manque d'équipement dans la kitchenette (plaque de cuisson, grille pain, ustensiles de cuisine) mais c est vraiment un détail !

The room is luxurious and spacious. The bed the best we've slept on during our 2 weeks travelling around Portugal. The location could not be bettered and the bathroom newly done (previous reviewers have left some negative comments about the bathroom). There is a lift! And Goncalo the perfect host with lots of useful information. Coimbra is an amazing place to visit!

Perfect location--on pedestrian street, near major sites and great restaurants.. Large, clean, and very attractive apartment. Comfortable bed. Nicely furnished and decorated.

Wi-fi was erratic. Can be a little noisey, at least in the week before graduation but most of the sounds and views were pleasant.

The Orpheus, is beautifully set up in a very central location. Goncarlo was incredibly responsive and helpful.

The crockery was out of my reach, so a small step would be useful or they be relocated. The street below was very noisy due to ‘student week’, so maybe check the dates of your travel.
