perfect location, right in center but also quiet; spacious; good blinds. we were able to access early which was very helpful. Some nice restaurants nearby, notably Nata for breakfast and Sete for vegetarian options.

although toiletries were listed there were none. the bathroom sink was blocked when we first tried to use it. I messaged the young man who had checked us in and urged us to contact him if we needed anything but he never even bothered to reply. We had to use the kitchen sink instead. fortunately the shower and toilet worked fine.

The location of the property was ideal in the centre of the old town. The apartment was very spacious with lots of room. Air conditioning worked really well. Bed was firm but super comfortable.

Can't do much about this but the bathroom was really, really small. Otherwise all good

It is a gorgeous apartment in the hart of the city. Thanks to good isolation you can here nothing from outside unless you want to open the windows to enjoy the sounds of Portuguese guitar. The manager Jorge was amazing! He helped us with the restaurant and it was a great evening thanks for his efforts! Very friendly, very professional! We highly recommend this place! Don’t miss it!

Great location, very accommodating staff, lovely apartment.

lack of details, no soap\shampoo of any kind, no even for washing hands, we checked in late and no store in reasonable distance was open. Sofa bed couldn’t really accommodate 2 kids, single only.

Location and convenience

No toilet paper, minimal kitchen utensils to eat in. No tea towels, and no wine openers. You can also get rowdy street noise.

Beautiful large space and comfortable beds for an overnight stay. close to everything. easy walk to all places we wanted to see and good restaurants. busy area in day but quiet at night for restful sleep.

small bathroom needs some updating and some minor communication problems which got sorted quickly.

It wasn’t okay, the bathroom was a bit mouldy and I need to wait 30 minutes outside of the building for someone come to check me in, after I’ve said what time I would be there.

Spacious, clean, stylish and a great location. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Tv was too small for the size of the room, plus there wasn’t an iron.

The large single room was very light, airy and clean. The windows looked down onto the main walkway of the tourist area, which was quite busy for much of the night and day. We were there in winter! Everything was close to walk to. We sometimes used the Botanica Bus (at the end of the little walkway) when we did not want to walk the steep inclines.

The Bathroom was very, very small and not so clean. There were very few places to be able to put toothbrushes etc and clothes when showering. The shower screen leaked very badly. Some tiles in the shower need attention. The water did not always drain well from the hand basin. Some times of the day the used water sat there for 5 plus minutes. This definitely needs fixing. The towels were very hard, like sandpaper. Unbelievable! We were in this apartment for 5 days and there was not enough toilet paper or soap provided. I texted for more and there was no reply. We found a supermarket and bought our own. The meet and greet person was not that helpful. He said he would be waiting for us when I rang him from the taxi. We arrived at the time that we specified through the booking. Of course we had to wait for him for 10 minutes. He seemed pretty disinterested in giving information about the apartment or the area. Sleeping was a problem as the apartment above was very noisy at night. It sounded as if there was a gym or a party going on 'till about 1am most nights. The stairwell near the apartment was very noisy late at night.

The location was great as it was right at the center and train station is some minutes away.

The first night was noisy because of the students (start of a new semester and academic year). The shower water went cold in the middle of my bath because of the heating system. It would be better if the host warned us before so we could have avoided taking a bath one next to another.
