Nice boutique hotel in a shoplot row with heritage vibes. Clean, cozy and comfortable room. Got a room with a private bathroom. Location is central, really close to Armenian Street, Little India, Chulia street etc. I was greeted by Nicole who went out of her way to ensure I settled in well.

Central location was excellent. It was great having access to tea and coffee making facilities. Our host was very helpful, letting us park our scooter outside the accommodation door.

Housekeeping wasn’t completed on day two as we’d been told it would, so we had to ask for a dry towel. The furnishings (chairs) were badly stained, but this didn’t trouble us too much.

Very clean and historical building outside though inside beautifully innovated very comfortable and quiet enough to getting sleep. Staffs are very kind and our arrival was passed midnight for delay though Ms. Nicole (staff) was kindly waiting for us !! And 11 big cardboard boxes with us though they were very kindly let us left then. Before check in, we had asked whether they can accept late check in, and let us bring 11 cardboard boxes though and keep somewhere in hotel. We were so glad and enjoyed very much stay at Carnarvon House.

We had a great stay at Carnarvon House. The room was clean and the atmosphere in the heritage house was special. Restaurants, great food and also the murals were within walking distance. There was filtered water, fruits and cakes in the common area. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We can highly recommend it.

Beautiful house. Staff were very accommodating when my husband was unwell and allowed us to check out late.

No one was there to let us in so we had to call to find out how to let ourselves in - this could have been sent in a message as we did let them know our arrival time

Lovely comfortable accommodation in the heart of George Town. The room was very comfortable and stylish. They provide free tea/coffee and snacks. The host was very friendly and helpful, even let us leave luggage and freshen up later on before our later flight.

The location was great, within walking distance of the major sights in Georgetown. The host (Nicole) was very welcoming and helpful. The house is very charming and clean.

Wi-Fi was a bit unstable. The house is a bit older and made of wood, so the floors creak a bit when people walk around.

The house feels lived-in, homey, and clean. The location is very central, in the heritage area but not far from the big shopping centers.

Nicole is so friendly and helpful - giving us advice on our onwards travels. she was easy to contact through WhatsApp and sorted out laundry for us. the room is simple but nice. it’s beautiful looking around the traditional style shop house common areas. great to have access to the little kitchen with hot and cold water to make drinks and snacks. shower/bathroom super clean.

Compared to the rest of SE Asia the value for money is not so great, a similar type of room would be 2/3rd the price but I guess it varies between countries!
