Goede locatie en mooie kamers

Spa en zwembad zijn klein. Mijn vrouw heeft W hotel in Muscat bezocht en was super enthousiast. Ze wilde het mij ook laten zien vandaar dat wij in Brisbane ook bij W geboekt hebben ondanks de hoge prijs. In verhouding tot Muscat viel het hotel tegen. Er zijn dus grote verschillen tussen de diverse W hotels. Een klein detail maar toch een tegenvaller was dat er op de kamer in Muscat een complimentay chocoladeletter lag, in Brisbane alleen een pakje melk. Al het andere moest betaald worden.

We have stayed many times there and keep coming back. We love the location and the hotel itself with its facilities

The constant staff change over is hard to get used to it because we are regulars but keep seeing new faces and wished we would see old and familiar faces

Small things: glass cup with lip marks, body wash that wouldn't pump.

Bath is the best and view across the river is lush and I was only on 12th floor. And it's central in brissy to get around and eat shop and see very thing that brissy city center has to offer. location location location.

Over priced room. Over priced drinks at Pool Deck Parking at $70 is a huge cost of the stay

Breakfast was excellent, coffee great. Reception was great. Valet was great - prompt and polite.

Sheets on my 17yo daughters bed had not been changed from previous guests and had hair everywhere. Took 2 phone calls and 50 mins for bed to be re-made. We had an early start the next day and got to bed much later than we planned. Completely unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one with 5 stars. Staff that were sent to change the bed were apologetic and polite. Also, we had tried earlier to order the ice-cream from the room service menu only to be told in a follow up call that they don't do ice cream anymore and that we could have either choc cake or panna cotta. Perhaps take it off the menu?

The W was perfectly located close to Southbank and also the queen street mall

Modern design on lighting and curtains which provides different combinations of controls based on different modes. Great location and great facilities, including wet decks, living room bar and great restaurant. Pet friendly. This is one of highlight. Not many hotels offer an opportunity for fur friends to stay during holiday. Even hotel charges daily cleaning fees on pet, which I didn't see much of benefits. But I am happy to pay it to encourage more hotels to join in as pet friendly hotel.

Cleaning need to be improved. There are quite lot of dusts settled on control panel. Don't know how long they have not been cleaned. A mini fridge would be nicer than a mini bar stuffed with alcoholic drinks. The rate is bit pricey.

Electric power sockets failed in 2407. Could not boil a jug and the power to TV was also cut. Also need instruction on how to use the various switches. Many were confusing!!

Excellent reception at hotel reception desk, nice room, great restaurant for breakfast, we were on a high floor so the views were amazing until the city fogged over.

Unfriendly welcome at car park level, complicated lighting, tin bath that was wobbly (not seated properly)...

I love the quirkiness of the hotel and the fact that we could use the hot tubs in the spa!

I didnt like the parking but i ended up getting valet parking which was a little expensive but very convenient

I absolutely loved everything about my stay. Everything felt so cozy, my view was great, the service was fantastic, and my entire experience was above my expectations.

The only thing I didn't like was having to leave. Everything was so great.

Hotel Facilities and Staff were amazing.

Some forward advice around the road works going on in and around the hotel - with walking and road access made quite difficult. Not being a local, we did not know this prior.

Pillows were a bit too soft for my liking.

The in-room meal was great (especially being able to order GLUTEN FREE food). The buffet breakfast was also excellent and the variety of food available was impressive - especially the stand-alone GLUTEN FREE bar.

1. The volume of the music played in the foyer, common areas, restaurant and in the lifts was way, way TOO LOUD ! It was irritating and the "doof doof" modern disco music was totally annoying ! It was enough to discourage us from possibly not staying there again. 2. The lounge in room 3308 was hard and uncomfortable.

Beautiful hotel! So much within the hotel itself, swimming pool, spa and wellness, gym. Hygiene supplies in the room smelt and were amazing for my skin.

Hot water took a good while, the floor in our room has soft spots and was quiet loud when walking on it
