Wonderfully peaceful location. Really well equipped and cool kitchen: great to escape the summer heat. Two lovely terraces. Really good pool. Comfortable beds. And exceptionally helpful host.

Very clean and comfortable with lovely views. The kithchen had everything you would need. The bedrooms were spacious, clean, comfortable and well designed, with great showers on suite. Good welcome pack and made to feel at home immediately. Great location for visiting The Loire's Chateaux.

Narrow spiral stairs from kitchen to all other rooms were challenging to carry anything up or down. Very little natural light in the kitchen/diner. due to no outside window. Although it did not effect us too much, the timed availabily of the pool can be restrictive.

Beautiful gite in great surroundings plenty of places to visit or just relax by the pool. Hosts were very friendly and informative. Should be 5 star not 4. Superb

We were guests of Bruno and Ritva with our family. We enjoyed ourselves immensely, our children did not want to go home anymore. The wonderful pool and the beautiful view and the fact that there is space all around you, which you can use, made this a luxury vacation.

Nothing, everything was beyond expectations!

We spent a wonderful week at La Grange. Bruno and Ritva were perfect hosts, on hand with local advice and recommendations. The property (a newly renovated barn) was perfect for our family of 4. Kitchen was brilliantly equipped and the utility room with washing machine was very welcome. The bedrooms and upstairs living room have fabulous views out over the countryside and the stars and moon at night. Two outdoor eating areas and lots of outdoor space for our two boys to roam around. The pool was shared with the other gite (La Maison) and Bruno set out pool times for each gite each day. We found this worked well and in ways meant we got out and about more with timed pool times. We loved our time at Avon Les Roches and would highly recommend
