location was excellent, everything was lovely, it was clean and the furnishings and decorations were perfect. it was handy having an extra bathroom. I especially liked the orange hand and shower liquid soap. we had a wonderful stay.

The stairs leading up to the apartment were in a poor condition, quite crumbly in places.

We like the size of the apartment. Paola was helpful. The place was quiet.

There was no lift. We booked a 2nd floor and we had 7 luggages as a family of 6. Its a struggle to bring all 6 luggages up the stairs.

It was clean and tidy and Mrs Paola was pleasant, accommodating and helpful . The apartment itself was immaculate.

The entrance is terrible and for elderly people as us the two flights of stairs which was uneven was difficult to climb. It would have been nice if the apartment was on the ground floor

The view from the apartment is exactly as in the photos - beautiful view of the water! The apartment itself has an excellent layout and was very comfortable for my family of 5. Having 2 toilets was also a major plus. Bedding and towels were top rate. Ms Paola was also extremely kind and patient with us when our arrival time was delayed due to us getting off at the wrong train station! Mr Davide also gave us excellent instructions on how to get to the apartment and to our car rental location.

The apartment is beautifully furnished and comfortable and is located in a quiet position but very close to the main attractions of Venice. The little balcony above Rio del Santissimo with the view of Canal Grande is a real bonus.

Nothing really. A great apartment and nicely furnished

The location was great and the flat was big for what we needed. We had initially booked for 5 of us, but only 2 could go. It was a perfect place to rest after walking so much and it was close to a campo that had a lot of restaurants and coffee options.

We were next to a music school and one night there was trumpet practice! But it ended by 7pm - it just happened to be at the time when we decided to rest (between 17:00-19:00). Owner of the flat could not help that! One night there was a beautiful piano concert and that made up for the trumpets! Also, it was a bit hard to find on the first day - explanation that it was down under a bit of a hidden corridor would have helped a bit.

Great location, quiet but central, quick walk to Giglio vaporetto stop. About a 10 minute walk to St. Mark’s Square. Couldn’t enjoy the balcony due to the weather, but normally it would probably be lovely.

We had some issues cooking. The oven didn’t close all the way so it took forever to cook food through. The kettle is also the slowest I’ve ever encountered, so an update would be helpful! Bins in the bathroom would be a nice touch. Bunk beds a bit wobbly! The rubbish removal process is a pain, but I suppose that is the case in any self-catering accommodation — need to take it to the boat (about 5 minutes away) between 0630 and 0830. I wish this had been mentioned when Paola met us because we had questions that weren’t answered. Seems you can also leave the rubbish downstairs later in the morning, but we weren’t exactly sure on the location for that (on the landing? in the street?). We had to leave pre-0600 our final morning so took our morning’s rubbish (just a small amount) to one of the regular public bins. We probably weren’t supposed to do that, but didn’t know what else to do.

The entrance of the building is inadequate, hope it will be renovated somehow, because at the current stage it might be dangerous;

The property was beautifully decorated. Location was near Grand Canal with the balcony overlooking a small canal (we watched several gondolas travel the small canal). The apartment had everything that we needed and was comfortable (I could have just relaxed in the apartment).

Very romantic balcony right above a beautiful canal. Very good bathroom, Italian style apartment, great location if you want to be close to the main attractions! Easy to reach and comfortable check in. The owner Davide is very helpful and response within minutes :)

Lots of mosquitoes which didn’t come by surprise. What really got us on the wrong foot was that there wasn’t thought of any bed nets/ window shields etc.. our 6 months old baby was bitten all over her body - we didn’t even bother counting ours. We bought window screens the next day and installed them ourselves which was better but not perfect and the reduction of air ventilation due to closed doors resulted in a very humid and hot room climate. Hence not much sleep for all of us. We were also asked to clean our dishes and dispose our rubbish at the end of the stay. I’d say that goes without saying but the people that were supposed to ring the doorbell every morning between 8:30 and 11:30 and collect the rubbish never showed up. This and the mosquito business kept us quite busy during the stay.

Quiet place with everything you need. Nice dock with scenic view just outside (but not a valporetta stop!), nice little balcony & the best coffee maker we had in a rental place!

Not really a negative, you to be aware of: If you take the valporetta, pack light, you need to walk 10+ min bit with your luggage. Same for grocery basics. And get familiar how to dispose of your garbage: it requires you to plan ahead and take morning walks with your garbage through town.

The location was nice and quiet, tucked away around the corner. We specifically wanted somewhere with a balcony and near to the water so this ticked those boxes. There was a music school not far away and it gave the apartment a lovely atmosphere at breakfast time to hear opera singers and musicians practicing (but not too loudly). The apartment felt nice and homely with rugs, scatter cushions, classical art pictures and table lamps to give the room a warm glow. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything one may need to make meals, We appreciated having an en-suite toilet & sink as well as the nice modern shower room. This lovely apartment very swiftly felt like home on the first day of our stay and we were sad to leave. We would definitely stay here again.

The fridge in the kitchen was slightly noisy, but this didn't affect us sleeping in the main bedroom. In addition, the edges of some of the stairs on the first flight of stairs may need some repairing but this didn't bother us too much and is more to do with the aesthetics and perceptions on arrival. We accepted it as part of the rustic charm of Venice.

The location was perfect and the staff went above and beyond for us by meeting us at 6am which was very impressive. Would definitely recommend staying here.
