We had a lovely time staying at the farm. The play equipment (swings, slide, trampoline, sandpit, treehouse) was perfect for my daughter. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The view was beautiful.

The owners were very friendly and helped with any questions we had about the area. We stayed 6 nights and it was perfect. Easy to get the train in to Bergen, or explore the island by car. The facilities were very clean and the kitchen well stocked. The living space was generous.

The downstairs bathroom was a little inconvenient. The bottom three stairs after the landing could use a handrail or grab bar.

Really loved our stay. The red house is not super big but really cosy and has everything you need. Kitchen was well-equipped with many appliances and basic food stuff such as oil, herbs, coffee etc. The hosts were super friendly and helpful. If you like animals, this is the perfect place to stay. We had so much fun with the goats, cats and sheep! Besides this we really loved Osterøy. The island itself is really idyllic with lots of quiet, forested places where you can walk/swim, would definitely recommend it!

We were there in June (hence long days), and the curtains did not block the light which made it a little bit hard to fall asleep.

We were very well received and welcomed! they were kind enough to accommodate us and our 1yo: we help feeding the sheep’s and our kid loved every bit! highly recommend! lovely farm and lovely family ❤️

We stayed at Skjerping gård for 5 days in July. We lived in an old farming house. It has an beautiful and unique charm and we really loved it. It was really, really clean and there was all, that you need for your stay. Our teenage daughter loved the little sheep’s and was really sad, that we had to leave. The chickens were funny and we liked the surroundings there. Perfect for hiking or to visit Bergen. At least the hosts/ family were so nice. Even before the staying, we had email contact and they were so helpfull. We highly recommend, to staying here. Vennlig hilsen fra Tyskland 😊
