Fantastic location, charming accomodation. My 9 year old said it was just like visiting granny’s house.

Seemed the property hadn’t been occupied in a little while.

Great location, easy to get to from ferry and into house. Good combination of older style for bedrooms and lounge and modern style for kitchen, dining, and bathroom. Plenty of room for the 2 of us, easy parking.

Could do with better heating for the lounge. However, the beds had electric blankets, dining had reverse cycle air conditioner.

Just a very lovely & comfortable home to stay in. Views are wonderful & within walking distance to most everything in Kingscote.

Shower pressure terrible. Wifi could do with a wifi extender, worked well in the kitchen but struggled in the front lounge room.

Great location, plenty of room and very clean. Lovely to have a pantry with provisions.

A comfortable house that has everything we needed for our stay on Kangaroo Island.

I love the location, the history of the house, the cleanliness, and the bookshelf that had both history do the house and other book collections. It is located right next to a bookshop, and you can see the wharf and sea from the front window. There are seals at the jetty. And nice kitchen appliances. We enjoyed every part of our stay here.

Large house with lots of space. Covered outdoor area was very useful. Parking was good. Good gas stove top Water pressure in the kitchen is great

Internet only seems to work in the one dining room. Bed was not comfortable Sheets were some sort of polyester or something. The bedrooms and the lounge room have a very strong smell of old dust. The lounge suite has visible thick dust on it. The main bedroom has a fly screen so it was possible to sleep in that room but we stayed away from those rooms during the day as it’s overwhelming. Water pressure in the shower is miserable at best.
