The location

Where to begin? I was travelling for a funeral for my mother. They charged me a room deposit 3xs. They toyed with my credit card. Purchases were not straight forward. No manager would return my calls. My deposits were not returned for over 30 days even though I called everyday to ask. The front desk staff would not help at all and even pretended to be management at one point. The pool and the hot tub were gross with dirt rings around the circumference of the both the pool and the hot tub. The heater in our room didn’t work so we had a noisy fireplace that kept us up all night long. Food couldn’t be charged to the room but the restaurant told us we could charge to the room. Literally nobody would help us all.

Friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms, hot breakfast - after staying at the hotel on two occasions, the front desk staff upgraded our room to a king suite with fireplace, etc. very nice and very unexpected!!

Due to covid, the pool, restaurant and bikes were not available… and we were not aware until check in.

Breakfast was excellent value, clean and plentiful.

Facilities were good but could have been cleaner…especially by the pool. It seemed to have very few staff working. Maybe a need to hire more.

I asked for a room close to the front for my mom as she cannot walk well and was given second room in at a bit of a upgrade at no cost to me. They were very good at assisting me with everything i needed to make the weekend great and make it easy to care for her needs.

not a thing ... it was great!

It’s a very decent place, currently being updated. The breakfast was awesome and great value for money.
