Just like home! If you expect “hotel experience,” then stay at a hotel; but is you are looking for a “home away from home” then this is it! We plan to stay here every time we visit Seattle. The hosts r terrific. Terri (house keeper) is super awesome too. We loved it!

Great find! Cozy private place with an incredible water view. Ron was excellent with communication and responsiveness.

We came for a quick business meeting and tacked on a day to relax. This was the perfect spot. We used Uber to check out downtown Burien and walked to Seahurst park. Otherwise we just enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere of the rental. Everything was well-stocked and clean and the host was very friendly. He accommodated our late checkout as well.

This was the perfect location to easily get to city attractions within 20 minutes but enjoy a quiet residential space (and a beautiful view) for rest. Matched description and photos, clean, and Ron is there when needed but respects privacy otherwise. Two notes: Try to arrive for the first time in daylight. Ron’s directions are perfect, but the road is daunting so it was a little tricky trying to navigate for the first time in the dark. Unit is below a main residence so expect very quiet neighbors (occasional footsteps, very low occasional murmuring). We weren’t disturbed at all, more concerned we were being quiet enough.

The place is located in a spectacular neighborhood. It’s down a winding steep street which can feel a little daunting to drive and to walk. Your own personal patio is a highlight with spectacular views all to yourself. The place is outfitted With everything you need for the kitchen and bathroom, Including a functioning hairdryer.. The place is old and it showing it’s wear in various places but everything works well and I enjoyed my stay very much.

The photos are impressive but don't do justice to this gorgeous property....We were visiting relatives in town and didn't venture out much BUT there is much to do and see in Burien. We recommend sampling the local restaurants and visiting and buying stuff from local businesses. The downtown area is a jewel...explore and have fun!

Ron's house was perfect for our needs. It was in great shape with a beautiful view of Puget Sound. Apartment was immaculate. We will definitely stay here again.

Really convenient to everywhere and fantastic view of the ocean. you can enjoy the patio every day and watch the beautiful sunset. Ron is so helpful and nice. It is wonderful trip for our whole family stay. Will come back again!

Our family of four enjoyed our stay very much. Views were spectacular and accommodations were just what we needed.

We enjoyed our week in Seattle, and coming “home” to this cozy rental after a long day of house-hunting made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The full size washer/dryer in the separate basement helped a lot (we always pack lightly, so being able to do our laundry was a big plus). The deck overlooking the Sound and the spectacular views at sunset made for some wonderful memories that we’ll cherish forever. Thanks for a great stay!

We stayed here for our 6th wedding anniversary and it was perfect! The pictures do not do it justice! The view is amazing, the rental has everything you could need for you stay. The grounds are gorgeous and the sun room is perfect for a glass of wine on a cold evening . Don’t miss out on this little gem !!

This property is as pictured and described. Clean and comfortable, very quiet, secluded, location near Seattle, beautiful views, friendly and responsive owner.

This little jewel of a property is hidden away in Burien-just minutes from the airport. We need a place with the kids to sleep off jet lag and this was perfect as we could sit out on the large balcony, sip wine, and watch the ships go by while they slept/recuperated from a Trans-Atlantic/Continental flight. A plus were the cute restaurants and Main Street of Burien-great for a quick pizza on the way back from the airport. Ron was super friendly and checked on us to make sure all was well. We‘ll definitely book again for next summer‘s flights!!

Ron’s place was a beautiful start to our Alaskan cruise. We stayed three days. Exceptionally clean and easy to get to. Thank you for a wonderful visit to Seattle. We highly recommend Rons place.

My friends and I have a girl's weekend once a year. We picked Ron's place for the amazing view and proximity to the airport. Ron came out to help me the moment I pulled in. This was wonderful as I am not sure I would have found the correct walkway without his help. The home was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed, even a corkscrew. The beds were extremely comfortable. Ron was accomodating and promptly helped me with some requests I had. It was the perfect vacation. Thank you Ron.

Ron was great and greeted us when we arrived. He was very helpful with directions and provided us with local vegan restaurants. The place had everything we needed with an amazing view of pudget sound. After a full day of touring Seattle, this was a good location to relax in seclusion, away from the city. Cons: extremely steep incline to get there, and there was a few mornings where noise above us woke us up earlier than we would have liked (6:30-7 am)

Very nice place, great views, and Ron was great to work with. He provided a lot of information about great places to visit in the area. Easy to get to airport, light rail, etc. The Burien downtown area is really nice as well. Would recommend!

Very beautiful stay. Enjoyed every minute of this place. And what a beautiful view! Couldn't get enough of it. Stay 1 day out of our week visit just at our retreat so we could enjoy it. Had a wonderful 4 day stay. The home is spacious, with a large deck looking over the ocean. The beds are very comfortable and it is so quite at night. Easy to get to Seattle.

Loved this apartment! A few miles from light rail free parking to ride to the city! Host Ron was very helpful with recommendations! Wish we had more time to spend, will be telling friends about this great gem!

This was a wonderful place to stay. Ron is one of the nicest VRBO owners I’ve rented from. The place was clean and well kept, and the views are unbeatable! Thank you so much Ron, we loved it!

We reserved this for the location and view; it did not disappoint in these categories. This is a lovely place to watch the sunset, and it's close to Seahurst Park, the airport, the light rail, and venues south of the city. Linens are nice, and overall the place is better than what you see in the photos. The owner was nice and welcoming. The home is older, with associated old house sorts of smells and creaks. It's the lower level of the owner's home, and we could hear walking around upstairs quite well (one morning it woke us up around 0600). The kitchen is tiny but fairly well stocked. There is no dishwasher, and we found that we had to wash most dishes prior to use as previous renters didn't seem to do a very good job of hand-washing the dishes. Wi-fi was pretty terrible; it often didn't work, and it was quite slow when it did. So if you're willing to put up with a few issues in exchange for a nice view, this place is for you.

Very clean and quaint.

We stayed here for a week, my daughter had a national softball tournament in the area. This was the perfect place to come back & relax after a long day at the dusty ball fields! Clean, quiet & the view is spectacular! Ron was great, if he saw us coming or going he would check in & ask how ball was going : ) If we are ever in the area again, I would definitely stay here again.

The apartment is the lower half of the owners property, situated in a quiet area of Burien. The large private balcony gave us a stunning view of Puget Sound and Vashon Island. It was lovely sitting there in the evenings gazing at the beautiful sunsets.We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay - including very comfortable beds.
