We took a family trip to the Seattle area this summer. We wanted to stay outside of the city. This was a great fit for us! It was nice and quiet, clean, and spacious for the five of us. We enjoyed our time here and the beautiful flowers surrounding the house! It was nice to come back to after being amongst the crowds in town! Thank you for a lovely stay!

This house is in a beautiful secluded neighborhood that sits on a small piece of land. The owners live in the neighboring house that sits about 200 feet away, but you still get more of a sense of privacy compared to most rental homes due to the size of the property and being nestled in the trees. The property is well manicured and kept. The insides of the house was clean and has plenty of beds! One room has a king bed and a set of bunk beds and another has two sets of bunk beds so this house is capable of holding a large group. There was no soap or shampoo in the bathrooms so if you book here make sure to bring some with you. There is a keurig coffee maker but no coffee pods, only green tea. So if you’re a coffee drinker like myself I would bring some of that as well.

We had a great time at the farmhouse. The property was exactly as represented, was very comfortable, and had a beautiful back yard. We attended a wedding at nearby Shadow Lake, so it was the perfect location.

This home worked well for us to visit our son and his family who live in the area. Yard was nice for relaxing and we enjoyed the trail for easy walk to explore the property. Appreciated the recliner chairs in living room. The beds on the home description do not match with the actual beds in the home. Thank you for your hospitality! Will stay here again if possible.

This large 3 bedroom property is a wonderful place! It has very scenic surroundings including a duck pond and a walking trail. There is a gas fireplace that was terrific for chilly evenings and a large living room, too. Alexa, the property manager, could not have been more responsive, too. We will definitely stay here again! 5 BIG STARS!!

Highly recommend this home. Quiet, peaceful location that is located within 10-15 minutes of many shopping and eating places. Costco is close by. Loved the pond in the back yard that was visited by ducks every morning. Great view of Mt Rainier up the road. Comfortable beds. So much better than a hotel. The owners are located in a home next door and were wonderful to work with.

Very nice location and very quiet. A 3 minute walk to a beautiful view of Mount Rainier. Great kitchen and plenty of room to sleep. We loved the outdoor patio and the place was surrounded by gorgeous flowers and shrubs. 8 minutes from grocery store. Would recommend.

It was just what we need for one week vacation. The farmhouse is welcoming in a large garden yard with beautiful colors. There’s a pond where frog and duck are familiar. The best stay experience in a house. We will stay there again in a next journey to Seattle. It was just as like pictures and description.

A warm and welcoming home situated just outside of Kent proper. Love that this home can be a retreat from Kent and still close enough to Kent, Covington and Maple Valley for quick trips as needed. The property was very charming. Surrounded by lush greenery and views of Mt. Rainier. Love the large windows in the living room as you wake up and look out into the distance. This home is great for anybody looking for a rental that can accommodate a family for a trip.

This was a great central place for us to stay. Kid love the yard and running around. This was central for us to visit downtown and for the wedding. Nice clean and really enjoyed our stay there. Only thing we sort of didn't like was they asked for us to wash the towels and some other cleaning that we had not had to do in other rentals. It was fine but just was a little time waster that we had to make sure was done before we left.

Beautiful House in the Country
We had several goals for this trip. We did our homework and selected this property. It completely satisfied all of our goals and more. We were in town for a wedding. Having been to the area before, we wanted a place that we could have a couple of family members over and relax and catch up. We also wanted to be central to hiking trails, and come home to a quiet and beautiful location. We had a blast! Enjoyed every minute of our 5 days

Peaceful and quiet
My husband, son and I stayed here for a wedding, that was in Black Diamond.
As you watched the cherry blossoms falling from the trees you got to breathe in the peacefulness that surrounded you.
The house was roomy, clean and comfortable, rustic in its charm, and had all the amenities you would need. Kitchen well supplied.
Tv, roku and gas fireplace was extremely nice in this rainy May. We had great communication with the owner and even solved a problem quickly.

Wonderful property
My daughter and I stayed at this rental for a long term stay, it was extremely comfortable and I would recommend anyone to stay here. The kitchen has many things you would need for cooking and the spacious layout of the home makes you feel homey. I would be happy to stay here again if needed. The pond and the frogs at night is so soothing.

Simply put, this is the best VRBO home we've ever rented in western Washington and we'll be renting it again and again when we come from Texas to see my family. The property is beautiful. The home reminds me of the typical PNW home I grew up in during the 1970s and 80s. The beds are super comfortable. And it is so well-appointed with *EVERYTHING* we have needed. (Unlike one other reviewer of this home, we would never expect shampoo and other sundries to be supplied, particularly in the COVID era.) In fact, without having to buy any prepping and cooking kitchenware, I was able to easily cook and serve a celebratory dinner in honor of our son's college graduation for 27 extended family members.

Farm house stay
The house is a lovely and comfortable farm house in a beautiful neighborhood. It is very peaceful, and a great location. We enjoyed our stay quite a bit, however there are a few things that would make our stay well worth the price
. The owner/manager need to give a bit more attention to the details of the home prior to guests arriving. While the house is lovely, things such as the front door not working, and the landscape near the house needing some tending made it seem like they were not ready for guests. There are blackberry bushes and some nearly dead bushes which should be removed. It probably would not normally be a big deal, but the photo on VRBO makes it looks much better cared for than it was. Also, there were several items missing which we have had in other resort homes. Unfortunately, there were not basic items such as bar soap, shampoo/conditioner in the bathrooms, any kind of tupperware, Seran wrap, foil or Ziploc bags in the kitchen, any kind of kettle for heating water and some basic kitchen utensils. This made cooking in the home a bit trickier than it has been in other homes.
None of these things on their own would have been very noticeable or a problem, but putting them all together and considering the price of the home, it would have been nice to have these details taken care of.
Nonetheless, it was generally very comfortable, and we did enjoy our stay.

Picturesque setting but amenities need improving.
It was wonderful to come home after a busy day of sightseeing and relax in the beautiful yard. The setting is beautiful. The amenities however could use improvement; there was a used bar of soap in the master bathroom, no bath soap in the guest bathroom and no shampoo and conditioner although info provided said that was provided. Kitchen had a used dirty sponge and a set of bedsheets were stained.
