Orginally from the area but living out of state, we booked this place to be able to get our friends and family together for my husband's birthday. The long driveway gave us privacy and plenty of parking. The open layout also gave us ALOT of space to mingle. Would book again.

Our family and friends had a wonderful time at the Deerwood cabin. It's a beautiful cabin, the listing was accurate. Check in was easy, communication was great with the owner and she accommodated our requests. Clean property, well taken care of and spacious for our group. Kids loved having their space with play area, bedroom and their own bathroom. Beds are very comfortable and the rooms are very spacious. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. Thank you for sharing this lovely cabin with us and making sure all our needs were met! Looking forward to return to this beautiful cabin! Mulțumim!

Everything was good, except we always like to run a sweeper over the carpets and we couldn't find one, so we just used the broom and dusk pan. Hope to see you next year God willing and the creek don't rise!!! Pat

Does need some additional simple amenities but nothing that we can't live without. Overal enjoyed our time, we were really just there to play games and sleep after long day of shopping in Amish Country

It’s always a great time getting together with family. The cabin was very spacious but the drive way was alittle rough and hard to get off the main road.

I feel asleep on the couch on the patio and woke up to deer at the feeder, pretty cool. We had Cell service! Internet was good for streaming. Wal mart 15 minutes away for anything you need. Owners communicated very quickly! Plenty of fire wood to be found in the woods.

The location is fairly private. Driveway is difficult to enter from the north. Our family enjoyed it. We had a few problems. One bed was broken and we had guests avoid a shower because the faucet didn't work properly. There was no propane for the grill. We avoided the hot tub because it was not clean, had slime in the water. But it was fair for the price. Way better than a hotel.

I have a group of friends that gets together every year for Super Bowl weekend. This is the perfect place if you like to cook, hang out with your friends, and stay in a very comfortable place.

Owner was very responsive to questions. Property was Beautiful and well maintained. Furnishings were great. Our stay was for a weekend destination wedding and this "cabin" allowed us to enjoy time together without worrying about a central meeting place necessary if we stayed in hotels. From dishes to linens it was wonderful! Thank you for allowing this chance to gather a family.

Grandma's Family Vaca
This place was perfect for a large group. Plenty of room. Ms. Cristina (Owner) was very kind and helpful. She was quick to respond to questions and was EXTREMELY helpful with me making last minute trip plans.
The cabin location is only about 35/40 min. away from Berlin but with all the family together and the room at the cabin, it would have been just as enjoyable staying at the cabin.

Very nice property
This was our second time staying at this property and it did not disappoint. The great room and the kitchen were very well appointed and there is a nice fireplace. We were here over Super Bowl weekend, so a good TV was important to us. Reception was great and we enjoyed the game. The hot tub was also a hit! Our host was easy to communicate with and quick to answer questions. We really enjoyed our stay!

Ice maker did not work but we should have thought about ice and brought it ( our fault) no big deal the cute little town is very close. Even though we knew the driveway would be hard to find. We all passed it. Lol … It is easier to come from the south of drive because it is a very sharp turn to the right. I know the owners are trying to fix it with the city. The hot tub was very relaxing and worked great. Communication was great with the owners . The cabin was decorated for Christmas that made it special. Just wish the lights worked on the Christmas tree. I want to thank the owners for sharing their home with us and making sure there was food in the deer feeder . Overall, it was a great place for our family! There was so many things to do for all ages! I wish there were instructions about operating the hot tub.......it took us a bit to get that figured out! The ice maker wasn’t working, so we had to leave to get ice. The upstairs living room couch is very worn, in fact the stuffing was showing at one of the top corners. The foosball coffee table is in need of repair.....the grandkids were sad that they couldn’t use it.
Everyone enjoyed the hot tub (once we got the heat figured out),
the fire pit was great, we enjoyed all of the deer, there were plenty of towels (could use more wash cloths), the kitchen was very well stocked with dishes and pans (the only thing we couldn’t find was a can opener!), the table was amazing (we could fit everyone around the table for all of our meals.....12 of us), and we felt very secure there. We had reservations to ride the Polar Express in Dennison and it was a perfect place to stay. Like I started with, overall we truly enjoyed our stay there. We hope you appreciate our comments to only help to improve your rental, we would like to know if we were renting a place!

Great
This was by far the best stock cabin we have ever stayed in. Everything was there for our use, clean and this cabin had plenty of room for everyone. The fire pit would be better because of the hill going down but there were steps tp get down. Thanks for getting the hot tub fixed.

The AC functioned very well and was great for a hot weekend in August. Unfortunately, the hot tub didn't work due to electrical issues and couldn't be fixed during our stay. We also had issues with the coffee maker and washing machine. The owner was responsive to our needs and gave us a partial refund for our troubles which was very much appreciated, but for the price we would have expected the house to be in better shape (stained carpets in the living room, a bedroom with an unpleasant animal odor, dim lighting in general, and dishwasher that wasn't anchored into the cabinetry). This is no fault of the owner, but the outdoor part of the property is very sloped, so it makes it hard to enjoy the campfire area and unfeasible for outdoor games like cornhole, unless you want to play on the driveway.
