The room that we had, had renovations on the upper floor that started every morning at 7am, drilling etc. Reception staff not very friendly.

Chamelot Spa - Great Experience, wonderful therapists, very knowledgeable and accommodating (Vanessa). Having the Spa in the Hotel was a great idea. It actually contributed to the hotel selection when booking. It was clean, hygienic and most importantly very peaceful and relaxing, fully achieving the objective of the visit. A great treat after a busy workday and travel.

It was disturbing that the bathroom counter, wall tiles and tub were stained and appeared used. The bedding had dust towards the bottom. These are easily fixable with solutions of daily cleaning and maintenance. For business travelers the chair provided was very hard and uncomfortable, which made extensive use, after hours, a very painful experience. For this business visit, we had booked through the booking.com app, which was very easy and convenient, and we were happy that it came with a discount. Understandably, in the tough economic conditions, travelers and service providers alike are trying to cut costs and save money. However, even under these circumstances certain things can be done cost effectively to ensure that travelers are met with some satisfaction to their visit, in keeping with brand reputation and previous high standards that were enforced and upheld. Revisiting these standards will help you ensure you always have return customers to stay relevant and in business.
